📍Check in by 10:30 am, Parade begins at 11 am.

Not all people food are created equal when it comes to feeding your pets so keep in mind what they can have and what they can't. Some human food can be toxic, even in small amounts.

Always remember, they eat the same thing day in and day out so their stomachs can be more sensitive. Any new treats or foods should be given in moderation so they don't get an upset tummy.

PUPDATE: Happy to report that lol he is now back with her mother!!!

URGENT FOSTER NEEDED: sad to say that LOLA was relinquished to South Jersey Regional Animal Shelter today caught in a domestic dispute. She is 80% blind, nine years old, and urgently needs a foster because her mother cannot take her at the location she is at. Anyone willing to help, please contact message owner directly. Shelter cannot foster her out for liability issues. owner has commented on our site and will respond directly. She has 7 days to find her own solution. SJRAS accepted her so she would be in a safer location. They did not have to take her but thankfully they did!!!!

Toms River Animal Shelter closed last week as plans are under way to transfer running of the facility to Ocean County in an effort to save taxpayers money.

About 35 animals, mostly cats, left the shelter in crates last week as the shelter closed down. https://l.nj.com/ft0lqd
