ENRICHMENT SESSIONS... It's baking hot at the minute and just not suitable to walk dogs. But don't stress, there is another way. Walks are great for our dogs but they don't need to be walked everyday. They need engagement, mental stimulation and enrichment but taking them outside to run away isn't the only way to give them this.

My enrichment sessions are a great alternative to walks to tire dogs out mentally. Every dog is different so I take the time to work out what the dogs enjoy doing and work with them to have fun. I look into the genetic traits of each breed and start with exercises that play to those strengths then I mix in combinations of trick training, impulse control, play, scatter feeding, scent work and much more

If you are struggling because your dog isn't getting out for a walk all day and they are bouncing off the walls. Then get in contact to see if enrichment visits are for you. You don't have to be home when I come over and I will make sure they get time to use the bathroom, have fresh water and are safe when I leave.

Hi, I am Lesley-Anne and I am the proud owner of 2 German Shepherd Dogs. After being attacked, my youngest dog Morgan developed low confidence and reactivity towards other dogs.

I worked tirelessly with professional trainers to help her overcome her anxieties. Years of exposure training, socialising, dog sports, obedience training and enriching walks followed.

When my partner made the brave decision to go to Ukraine to volunteer I was in need of a dog walker to help while I was at work. I could not find anyone that I trusted. On my walks I met multiple dog walkers with 6-8 off lead dogs and I knew this was not suitable for either of my dogs. I ended up paying a professional trainer to do training sessions outside instead of walks, but all I wanted was for my girls to have a fun, stress free, stimulating walk while I was at work.

At the beginning of 2024 I decided to quit my job and pursue my passion for dog training. So I started a dog walking business with a focus on quiet, stress free, enriching walks for high energy, working breeds. I work with the owners to continue the dogs training when they are unable.

I am currently offering 1-2-1 walks all over Gloucestershire

Livestock Exposure. I have heard a lot of people complaining lately about sheep being back on our local hill until winter. I understand the disappointment of losing a space to walk your dog off lead. BUT For those of you keen to do more adventuring with your dog, livestock in the UK is something you can't avoid easily. The hills are covered in horses, cows, sheep, goats all free roaming for miles. So use this opportunity of having a local hill full of training aids. Some dogs are naturally not bothered by sheep. Freya is NOT one of them. She has extremely high chase drive and would love nothing more than to go running after these sheep. But we have worked very hard to set boundaries and she knows what is expected of her. Following these steps we have got to this point. Step 0: Put your dog on a lead! Step 1: Go for a walk first, away from the sheep, and get some energy out. Step 2: Find the sheep and work at a distance your dog can cope with. Do some engagement work or just sit and enjoy the view Step 3: Gradually reduce the distance based on dogs arousal The more exposure your dog has to livestock the less exciting they will be
