It is our goal to help shelter dogs escape death row and find forever homes. The majority of our dogs/puppies come to us from overcrowded, high-kill shelters where they may not put their best paws forward or their time may simply be up. These amazing dogs are abandoned at shelters every day and we help these dogs escape death by cleaning them up, socialization/training, spaying/neutering and finding them a forever home!

Otto on the car ride home and first night in his foster home.

Otto is one of 3 adult, brother siblings who came in with a litter of 7 pups from a shelter. We believe they are Boxer/Border Terrier, but we’re unsure of their exact breed. All the girls were adopted to homes, but we still have the 3 boys. All 3 are fantastic dogs, well behaved and great temperaments with people and other pets.

Otto is the shy one of the group so he’s being fostered in hopes that it will help him in a new home. It won’t take him long to feel at home, he’s the best boy!!!

Coco and her babies were upgraded to a bigger swimming pool today since they are quickly growing.

Coco is a 3 year old Poodle we rescued, approx. 25 #. She came in pregnant and gave birth to 11 babies. The daddy is “Simon” a 20-25 #, Mini Poodle who was surrendered with Coco. Mom and babies will be available for adoption toward the end of October. Daddy dog “Simon” has been neutered and is currently available for adoption.

The following information is for the ignorant people who feel the need to comment that the mother dog is being neglected: Coco has access to dry puppy food and water 24/7. She receives protein, goats milk and vitamins daily. Babies are being supplemented and closely monitored. Babies are fat and happy. They have clean comfy bedding and a heat source under their bedding, because puppies like it warm. Mama goes outside several times throughout the day for potty breaks. All is good!

Hi,

I’m Momtilda, short for Mommy Matilda. I’m an approximately 3 year old, Bluetick Coonhound.

Somehow I ended up in a shelter. It’s all very confusing and I can’t remember exactly how I ended up there, but I think I may have been off chasing bunnies and lost my way. Oops, forget to mention a minor detail, …that I was also VERY pregnant! Molly’s Place learned of my plight and rescued me to go live with them. Shortly after, I gave birth to 14 puppies. Crazy, right?! Twelve of my kids were adopted, but 2 of my daughters (Halle & Henrietta) are still here waiting for homes too.

All of that happened over a year ago. That’s right, I’ve been patiently waiting over a year for a home. I can’t understand what the hold up is as I’m great with people and love other dogs. I’m also very sweet, gentle and well behaved, …most of the time. Due to my strong desire to chase bunnies and squirrels, (I just can’t help myself), I require a fenced in yard to keep me safe. Otherwise, I’m an affectionate, fun loving gal who loves to cuddle and give kisses.😘

2 weeks ago we fostered Bella and introduced her to our pack, W***y and Sammy. I was not sure how well Sammy and Bella would do. Initially there seemed to be some reactivity but they were doing really well after a few days.

Beth took Sammy and W***y away for 2 days this weekend. We wanted to see how the re-introduction would go.
Some excited barking, not aggressive and then back to normal. We went in, they got treats and are just chillin’

Hi, I’m Bunny. 🐰

I’m a youngster, only a year old.

Can you believe I was almost a goner? That’s right, little ole me almost bit the dust. Kicked the bucket. Sayonara, muchacha. It was my final plea and I was this close 🤏 to making the “E” list.

Good thing I’m so stinkin cute. Molly’s saw my picture, heard my story and came to my rescue. Whew! That was a close one.

I’ve been here a few weeks now and am settling in and making friends. I was really nervous at first, but I’m now in a play group with other pups my size and having a blast.💥

Now that I have a new lease on life, I’m really looking forward to having a home and family. I have some awesome attributes to offer:
- I’m a great listener
- you won’t have to repeat yourself …well maybe
- no one can sneak up on us
- you’d always win playing hide and seek
- built in tv antennas
- I might even be able to fly with these things

I found this to be very interesting. Very good info if you are thinking about fostering or adopting a pup.

I have been involved in rescue as a volunteer and have seen 1st hand how bad it is when a pup gets returned to the shelter after a day or 2 when things don't go well.
I don't want to judge anyone, but a little prep work and understanding will go a long way.

Please remember many of these pups have not been socialized and may be terrified in a brand-new environment. They need some time and patience. If they have a safe space to decompress it helps.

I am far from being an expert on training but am learning every day.

She’s living the life in her new home, while I’m still here playing with sticks.
