Pet Emergency Education is pleased to present this week's pet business of the week, True Blue Equine LLC.

True Blue Equine, located in East Central Minnesota, offers horsemanship coaching and equine educational experiences for both youth and adults. Their approach is designed to teach individuals about horses, while allowing horses to facilitate personal growth and self-awareness. They provide accessible, progressive, and comprehensive coaching that fosters the development of life skills, emphasizing integrity, safety, connection, leadership, authenticity, and continuous learning.

Kari Meyer, founder and President of True Blue Equine LLC, discovered her passion for the horse industry while working in her family's draft horse and carriage business. She began training horses when she was 13 and later pursued a degree in Equine Science at the University of Minnesota, Crookston, where she gained valuable insights from leading equestrians. After graduating, Kari began her career as a riding instructor and horse trainer, focusing on helping horse owners develop deeper connections with their equine partners.

True Blue Equine offers a variety of services tailored to both youth and adult horse enthusiasts. Their horsemanship coaching and equine consulting programs are very popular, with offerings such as Equine Essentials, a beginner groundwork series, and The Boss Mare's Retreat, a leadership workshop designed for women. Looking ahead, we plan to expand our services to include group riding lessons, afterschool programs, and training clinics/webinars at the True Blue Equine Learning Center and Horsemanship School.

In addition, Kari has recently co-authored the reference guide for Pet Emergency Education's Equine Emergency First Aid Certification Course. As a Senior Instructor with Pet Emergency Education, she has certified over 600 participants throughout the United States in canine, feline, and equine emergency response.

Pet Emergency Education is pleased to announce our newest instructor in Florida, Jamesyn Horton. Jamesyn has been in the veterinary field for the last 5 years and plans on doing it for the rest of his life! He knew that he wanted to be in this field when he realized that he had 22 animals at home and thought he should find a way
to make some money. He loves emergency and critical care medicine as it is
never boring and loves being able to help save lives. His favorite part of
working with animals is that it is forever changing; there is always something
new to learn. Jamesyn completed his CVA at STC and is working on obtaining
his CVT. He enjoys various activities like baking, crafting, and singing.
Although he no longer has 22 animals, 3 Cats (Milo, Rowena, and Yam), and
2 boa constrictors (Ron & Mango). Welcome to the Pet Emergency Education team, Jamesyn!

🐾 Urgent Help Needed in Southern California! 🐾

If you’re in or near Southern California, please consider assisting the Pasadena Humane Society. They are in desperate need of volunteers and foster homes to care for the many animals displaced by the Eaton Fire.

Our company has had the honor of working with the Pasadena Humane Society for years, providing Pet CPR and First Aid training to their incredible staff and volunteers. We’ve seen firsthand their dedication to saving lives—and now, they need your help more than ever.

As the deadly Eaton Fire continues burning in L.A. County, the Pasadena Humane Society is seeking help as a large number of injured and evacuated animals are arriving at the shelter.

Got to spend the day with the vet science students at the NW Career and Technical Academy here in Las Vegas today. We train the students in both Canine and Feline CPR and First Aid training as well as Equine Emergency First Aid training each year.

Starting quickly at the age of 16 , Christopher has many years of a vast array of knowledge and experience in areas of shelters, primary care, urgent care, and emergency and critical care veterinary medicine facilities. There's no situation that is too big or too small for
Christopher as he has seen and been through it all when it comes to those emergent and life threatening moments for our pet family. Now focusing the majority of his time overseeing critically ill pets in a veterinary hospital as an ICU Veterinary Nurse , Christopher is always on the move to promoting veterinary education, skill sets, and overall health that will benefit the furry friends we love and call family. On top of his training with PetCPR Education, Christopher is also fully certified and aware of the RECOVER CPR Initiative with basic, advanced, and Post Cardiac Arrest care and techniques.
