Due to a recent trademark development, we'll be removing the term "fl*per" from our Etsy listings.
Yes, you heard that right. Someone with too much time on their hands has managed to trademark a word that has been used in the pigeon community for years, and, as you know, they've been... less than friendly... in their efforts to enforce it 😅 And while we respect intellectual property rights, we believe common descriptive terms should belong to everyone 💪
While we must comply with US trademark regulations, we want to make it clear that this restriction only applies within the United States. Elsewhere, the term "fl*per" is fair game 😉
We'll continue to create the high-quality, stylish, and functional pigeon pants you love! And remember, whether you call them fl*pers, diapers, pigeon pants, or something else entirely, we're here for all your pigeon fashion needs 🪡🧵
We're also committed to supporting our feathered friends beyond fashion, and we'll continue our efforts in pigeon rehabilitation and rescue, supporting pigeon rehabbers and sanctuaries around the world ❤️
