Just A Pit-Bull Mom

There is nothing I love more than dogs and advocating for animals. The big block headed, velvety dogs commonly referred to as “pit bulls” have always had my heart and the stereotypes I heard instilled the need for me to be their voice. After rescuing my smiling boy, Goose, I knew I would never own another breed. There is something so rewarding about being able to educate individuals on pit bulls, their characteristics, and why they are the way they are. Every dog has their quirks, but speaking from experience pit bulls are the goofiest, most cuddly, and smiliest dogs there are.

Sarah’s Bull-tique was started in Boulder, Colorado in 2018 shortly after I rescued Goose. I always had him dressed up in cute bandanas to instill the viewpoint that pit bulls aren’t man eating machines, they’re just dogs. I taught myself how to sew and began searching nearby thrift stores for fabric to include my environmental advocacy in my mission as well. I now have two models, Goose and Darla. We are currently based out of Portland, Maine and all of our bandanas are made out of recycled material.
