I have an alarm set for 1200 and 1800 for Loki's vitamins and joint pills. Well at 1800 hrs when the alarm went off, Loki knows it is his alarm and he gets excited. His dad usually gives him the 1800 ones as he is home from work. When Loki gets his nummies on the bed he has to have a bib which we use a towel or he will slobber all over my bed lol. Well dad went out to get them and was playing sneak around the corner with Loki and he was excited trying to check his hands. Finally instead of giving him his nummies, he threw the bib over him lol. Once he got his nummies, he gave his dad the famous Loki pffft and sassed him lol

They have been calling for snow since last night and I was telling Loki that it was going to be snowing but when we got up this morning at 0530 and I reminded Loki about the snow he went out excited. Well when we got outside there was no snow. Loki was a bit disappointed to say the least lol. Well, a couple hours later Scott came in and said there be snow falling and not too long after that he and my son went in town to get a few things for dinner. When they got back I let the babies out to greet them and Loki was excited wagging his but/tail at the gate all excited there was snow. The second video (posted in the comments as I can't [post two videos on a page) is showing the snow still coming down an hour later. When Loki was out the next time he was playing snowball fight, picking the snow up and flinging his head up in the air letting go of the snow lol. There is about 2 inches and Morgan is another one that loves it, she will be pestering to go out constantly lol

Loki and granny want to let you all know why we have been AWOL the last few days. Last Wednesday the kids were outside playing as usual and Morgan was her happy go lucky self. She loves chasing bugs and when we are sitting outside with them she loves to come up and get loving from mama and then she runs back outside all happy like she doesn't have a care in the world. Well that day all was like normal and she came in, got a drink and went to lay down on her blanket next to me in the computer room. Well about 2 hours later as I was on the computer she got up and toppled over. At first I thought she tripped on the blanket but she was laying on her back like a turtle. When I got up to help her, she was acting dazed and confused and her eyes were racing like she was on a merry go round. I didn't know what was going on. We helped her outside and she walked like she had no balance, that her equilibrium was off. She managed to go to the bathroom and then we carried her in and laid her down on the bed in her favorite spot. You can see in the video her eyes are racing like she was confused but she went to sleep. I laid next to her the rest of the night constantly checking on her thinking maybe she had an inner ear infection. My son and I even put ear drops we use for Loki in her ears hoping that was it. The next day when I woke up she had threw up a little, not a whole lot, just phlegm, so I was talking to Scott and told him we need to take her to the vet as she could have had a stroke, she is 14, so I wasn't ruling that out. I made an appt with the vet. Finally the tech had us bring her to the Quiet Room and the tech, who loves Loki I might add lol, came in and looked at Morgan and Doc would be out. A few minutes later Doc came in and the first thing she said was Morgan has Old dog Vestibular Disease. She didn't have a stroke thank the Lord. She gave her a shot for nausea and a RX for it as well. She said her baby recently had it as well and it took about 3 -

Loki and crew once again got us up at Zero dark 30 and to see that there was heavy freezing rain this morning with about an inch on the trucks, the walkway in the backyard and even the grass. Now, as I said, Loki doesn't walk very well in the house since there is no carpet. His hips are pretty shaky and wobbly so he has trouble getting around. If he is laying down on the floor or he doesn't get his back legs just right he goes down and then pffft's us to get him up. He cant get up on his own but has no problem with assistance. Well this morning at 0430 when they got us up and we let them out, Loki came out the door slipping all over the place so grandpa had to help him carefully, so grandpa didn't fall, over to the grass. Once he gets on the grass he is fine, he has traction. He will go out and play and trot all over the place, just not when he doesn't have traction is where he runs in to problems. Has Scott and I were talking watching them Loki started coming back and stepped on the brick walkway and down he went. Poor guys feet came out from under him and he plopped down. He sat there looking at us as if to say, a little help would be great granny. Scott went out to get him and he just about joined him on the ground. Even Morgan was having trouble and she doesn't have bad hips. So, we got them all in and Loki did his thing where he puts his front feet up on the couch and looks at you waiting for a boost. I boosted him up and he plopped down in his rent spot letting out a satisfied pfftt. Scott and I talked for a few minutes and Loki wanted to go out again. He does this every morning, goes out for a couple of minutes then wants in for food and his morning treats. When he is done he wants to go back out. Well this morning we told him NO he had to wait. Now growing up we had an ole Basset Hound and was about that age in the video when we got him. Ever since then I fell in love with Bassets and are my favorite breed. However, since I got Loki I have added Pitties to that. Now, Loki happened to see the video and looked at it, then at me and back to the video as I kept playing it to see his reaction lol. Loki and granny were watching YouTube and Loki kept trying to hide the remote when I would browse the feed and there wasn't any Tom and Jerry on. When I would pull up a Tom and Jerry video he would settle down with a satisfied pfft and then when I would change it to something else he would turn around and look at me wondering what granny was doing. Well when he would sass me his dad came in and started ruffling his feathers and Loki decided to give his dad sass instead lol

Well Loki once again thought he was sneaky as he went to the back of the yard this time where granny had to come around the big tree to see what he was doing. Little did he know I already figured he was going to roll so I got my camera out while I was walking around the tree and caught him in the act lol. Loki and I were watching TV and I was playing a bit with him talking to him. I love to get him going carrying on what he thinks is a conversation. Well, apparently we were bothering grandpa and his dad out in the Livingroom as they were watching some Star Wars series and grandpa yelled down the hall (in a joking voice) "Shut up you" and then you could hear his dad laughing. As soon as Scott said it however Loki started fussing like he couldn't believe grandpa talked to him that way. Today was Loki's turn and if you ask him he would probably say it was about time lol. He was supposed to go last Wednesday but Teenie took his turn Wednesday and Thursday. Each day he would wait by the door looking over his shoulder whining at me trying to tell me lets go. As you all can see he is is normal onery sassy Lugnut. He was the same silly Lugnut last night right after the episode, maybe a little wobbly but his hips cause him to wobble sometimes too. He is acting unphased by the episode last night. Granny and grandpa didn't sleep too well as we were constantly waking up and checking on him and each time he was snoring like a baby. He wasn't too happy however when he got up and we had his breakfast put up so Teenie didn't get into it. It messed up his routine lol. I just got off the phone with his Vet and she is wanting to do bloodwork again to check his liver. We have been dealing with elevated Liver levels for the last couple of months so after she sees where we are with them she can set up a plan of action. Also that she is getting ready to do Tennie's surgery. We were going to have the tumor removed (it was the size of a baseball and came up over night damn near last month) and have her spayed as well but she said with the size of it she may wait on spaying, depends on how she does with the surgery. I will continue to keep all updated and we want to thank all of you for the prayers for my babies. You all are angels! Sending lots of Loki and granny hugs!🐾❤🐾
