🎉 Diesel Has Found His Forever Family! 🐾

We are overjoyed to announce that sweet Diesel, one of our brave parvo survivor puppies, has officially been adopted! 🏡❤️ Diesel’s journey from fighting for his life to thriving as a playful, snuggly puppy has touched so many hearts. Now, he’s off to start his next chapter with a dad that already loves him beyond measure. We couldn’t be happier for this resilient boy and his new human! 💕

But Diesel’s siblings—Rogue, Freya, Storm, and Ember—are still waiting for their forever families. Each one of these incredible puppies is ready to fill a home with love, joy, and snuggles. Like Diesel, they’ve beaten the odds and deserve the chance to grow up surrounded by the warmth of a family.

It’s me, Waffles—the goofy, playful, super adorable 7-month-old pup looking for my forever family. 🐾 I wanted to take a moment between playtime and naps to say a HUGE thank you to all the amazing people who donated to RezQ Dogs on Giving Tuesday! Because of your kindness, $4,029 was raised from 65 incredible humans. That’s a lot of belly rubs and tail wags worth of love! 🐶💕

Even though I’m busy having fun with my doggie friends, I can’t help but notice how worried everyone is about money lately. (Yes, I’m observant like that!) My rescuers work so hard to give me and so many other dogs the chance to find loving homes, but they’ve set a big goal of raising $25,000 before the end of the year—and we’re still far from it. 😟

Every dollar you give helps dogs like me stay safe, healthy, and ready to meet our future families. I wouldn’t be here without your support, and neither would my friends. Giving Tuesday: Samson’s Story 🐾💔

When Samson arrived at RezQ Dogs this past April, he was barely recognizable as a living, breathing dog. Covered in porcupine quills and hundreds of ticks, he looked like a dog who had given up, a dog who had suffered more than any soul should. The first photo we saw of him still haunts us—it was hard to believe he was alive.

It took months for all the quills to work their way out of Samson’s body. New ones kept surfacing, a painful reminder of the ordeal he endured. Yet, through it all, Samson’s spirit refused to waver. He proved to be a joyful, silly boy who loved attention, soaking up every ounce of affection he could get.

But something always felt “off.” He would have spells where he just wasn’t himself. Despite multiple trips to the vet, exams, bloodwork, and tests, no one could pinpoint the issue. Then one day, everything became heartbreakingly clear: Samson had a full-blown grand mal seizure.

Samson spent time under observation at the clinic, and while the seizures have stopped for now, they left their mark. He is now blind and walks with his head tilted to one side. Further tests revealed no clear answers, and after consulting a neurologist, we were advised that an MRI could confirm what they suspected—a brain tumor. But with the cost of an MRI at $4,000-$5,000, and knowing it wouldn’t change his outcome, we chose to focus on what truly matters: giving Samson the best quality of life for as long as he is happy and pain-free.

Today, Samson lives in my home. He has a group of four-legged friends who love him, a yard to bop around in, and all the love and care he could ever need. His blindness doesn’t slow him down—he plays, cuddles, and enjoys every moment like the carefree, loving boy he is.

Samson is a testament to what we do at RezQ Dogs. We don’t give up on the dogs who need us, no matter how long they stay or how complicated their care becomes. Without RezQ Dogs, Samson would have died months ago, never knowing love, safety, or joy.

This Giving Tuesday, we ask for your help to ensure we can continue to save dogs like Samson. Dogs who come to us broken, abandoned, or forgotten but still full of life and love to give. Your support makes all the difference—without you, we cannot do this work.

This , Support Lifesaving Work on Fort Belknap 🐾

At RezQ Dogs, our mission goes far beyond rescue. We are dedicated to helping the dogs and families on the Fort Belknap Reservation through vital services that save lives and prevent suffering. This year alone, we:

✨ Vaccinated 438 dogs and cats to protect them from deadly diseases like parvo and distemper.
✨ Provided dewormers, flea/tick preventatives, and mange treatments to improve the health and comfort of countless animals.
✨ Partnered with the US Army Reserve to spay/neuter 134 animals, reducing overpopulation and preventing future homelessness.

Hi, I’m Arrow! 🏹🐾

I bet you’re wondering how I got my name. It’s a little bittersweet. A while back, someone shot me with an arrow. It broke into my leg, leaving me in so much pain I could barely walk. I was scared, alone, and didn’t think anyone cared about me. If RezQ Dogs hadn’t stepped in, my story would’ve ended there—without ever knowing love or kindness.

But RezQ Dogs did step in. 💙 They saw my pain and promised I would never have to suffer like that again. They gave me the care I desperately needed, fixed my leg, and showed me that not all humans are bad. Today, I’m healthy, happy, and have my whole life ahead of me.

RezQ Dogs gave me hope when I had none. Without them, I wouldn’t be here to wag my tail and share this story with you.

Suki is still waiting for her forever home!🐾❤️

Suki’s story is one of unimaginable hardship, strength, and hope. This sweet, goofy girl came to RezQ Dogs after being shot. Her left front leg was completely unusable, dangling and dragging behind her. At first, the veterinarians feared the worst, suspecting the bullet had severed nerves and that amputation might be her only option. But Suki had other plans.

With time, patience, and love, Suki began to heal. Little by little, she started regaining use of her leg, defying the odds and showing us just how strong she truly is. Today, she’s a survivor who’s always on the move—running, playing, and living life to the fullest. Her past injuries don’t slow her down one bit, though she does have a unique, slightly quirky gait that makes her even more special.

And the most amazing part? Through everything, Suki has remained the happiest, goofiest girl. Nothing that happened in her past has dampened her spirit. Her playful energy, boundless enthusiasm, and love for life light up every room she enters.

But Suki’s resilience doesn’t stop there. X-rays also revealed that her hind leg had been broken long before she came to us. It didn’t heal properly, leaving her with a bit of a limp. And yet, Suki doesn’t let any of it hold her back. She loves to zoom around and play with other dogs, especially boy dogs, and her unique personality shines in everything she does.

Suki is housetrained, crate trained, spayed, microchipped, and up to date on all her vaccinations. She’s not a fan of cats, so a home without them would be best. What she really needs is a family who can see past her scars and see the amazing, spirited girl she is.

We can’t believe Suki hasn’t had any interest yet! She’s the kind of dog who makes you laugh with her silly antics and melts your heart with her joyful outlook on life. Despite all she’s been through, her heart is wide open, ready to love and be loved.

🎄 From Heartache to Hope: These Brave Puppies Are Ready for Their Forever Homes! 🐾

In October, a litter of tiny pups arrived at RezQ Dogs, unaware of the battle ahead. Diesel, Freya, Storm, Rogue, and Ember had been exposed to the deadly parvo virus before coming into our care. Just three days after their arrival, the symptoms started. Our hearts sank as they broke with parvo, one by one. We rushed them to the vet and began the fight of their lives.

The days that followed were grueling. Little Storm had the toughest time. He became so dehydrated and weak that he had to return to the clinic for intensive care over a weekend. The others struggled, too—diarrhea, loss of appetite, and a long road to recovery that demanded round-the-clock care and special diets. There were moments when we feared they might not pull through.

But these puppies are warriors. Against the odds, they survived. Slowly, their energy returned. Slowly, their tails wagged again. Slowly, they became puppies again—playful, curious, and full of life.

Now, at about 14 weeks old, Diesel, Freya, Storm, Rogue, and Ember are the picture of health. They’ve conquered their rough start and are ready to begin the best chapter of their lives—with loving families of their own.

These resilient pups are full of s***k, learning the ropes of house training, super food motivated, and absolutely love playing with other dogs. Each has their own unique personality, and there’s quite a size difference between them, with Rogue being the biggest and Storm the smallest. Their breed mix is anyone’s guess, but one thing’s for sure—they’re 100% loveable. They are currently in Havre, MT at RezQ Dogs.

As the holiday season approaches, we dream of seeing them in warm, happy homes, snuggled under Christmas trees and showered with love. After everything they’ve endured, they deserve nothing less.

🌟 Thank You for Your Birthday Wishes and Generous Donations! 🌟

I am overwhelmed with gratitude for all the love and support you’ve shown me and RezQ Dogs on my 50th birthday. Your kind words and donations mean the world—not just to me, but to the many dogs whose lives you’ve helped save.

Let me share a heartwarming update about one of those dogs: Caramel. She’s a sweet adult husky mix who came to us last month in heartbreaking condition, with a severe case of mange and a surprise battle with parvo. Thanks to your generosity and her incredible resilience, Caramel has fully recovered from parvo!

Her fight isn’t over yet—she’s still dealing with mange, and the cold Montana weather isn’t her favorite. When we let her outside to potty, she takes care of business in record time and asks to come right back in. Can’t blame her, though—she’s still pretty darn naked! 🥶 Despite everything, she’s a happy, active girl who loves her zoomies and has the funniest habit of spinning in place when she’s excited. Such a little dork!

We’re holding off on spaying her until she’s fully healed, but once she’s ready, she’ll be looking for her forever home. Caramel is the perfect example of what we do at RezQ Dogs. When we pull dogs from Animal Control, we never know what condition they’ll be in. Some, like Caramel, face uphill battles with severe mange or deadly illnesses like parvo.

But thanks to your support, dogs like Caramel have a fighting chance. You make this work possible, and for that, I am endlessly thankful.
