The girl we named Poppy went back to get her stitches out after her giant hernia removed, though not quite healed enough, so back again in a week.
In the meantime she was happy to go back home ❤️

We were notified recently about a dog in a remote village who had got his paw trapped in a wire snare, he had gotten himself out but it had caused horrific injurys, we set off to pick him with our two volunteers and a couple of our wildlife rangers as we were told that may be ellusive to catch only to discover that he hadn't been seen in days, there was an extensive search, but there was no sign, we assume the worst . . . . during the search we came accross a dog with what looked like a huge tumor after failing to find the dog from the snare we decided to take this girl to the vet for treatment, we were also approached by one of the helpers to assist her dog who had a bad shouder wound, after seeing the shocking wound we also rushed him to the vet for treatment.

*most people here care for there dogs, but do not have the funds to pay for a doctor for human care, nevermind for a pet, the nearest vet from here is also a 2 hour drive, most people here ride motorbikes, so transport is another huge hurdle
