🐾 Agility Training Spaces Available! 🐾

Pawsome has a few spots open from March in our upcoming classes—perfect for all levels, from puppies to competition!

📅 Tuesday 12:00 PM:
For dogs just starting to compete or those about to compete—build confidence and polish those skills!

📅 Thursday 10:00 AM:
Mixed class for not yet competing or lower grade dogs—enjoy fun, focused training in a relaxed environment. (Note grade means KC competition level and is not a reflection on the individual 🤪🤣)

📅 Thursday 12:00 PM:
Older puppies/young dogs just starting on equipment—ideal for dogs with some experience (either through foundation training or with an experienced handler).

You can take the next step in your agility journey with a 2-day seminar and practical assessment to become a Kennel Club Agility Judge.
📅 Dates: May 17th & 18th, 2025
📍 Location: Birdingbury, near Rugby, CV23 💷 Cost: £150 total (£50 deposit required to secure your place)
What’s Included:
Comprehensive training on Kennel Club judging guidelines and best practices. Sessions to help you design courses and judge agility runs with confidence. A practical assessment to evaluate your readiness as a judge.
Important Information: Pre-requisite: Participants must complete the free online theory part of the Kennel Club Judges Training Course before attending but you do not need to have completed this to sign up to the course.
Assessment: Passing the practical assessment is not guaranteed and will be based on your demonstrated understanding and performance.

Now we are into autumn, traditionally the off season for agility, it's time for a review of our goals from last year and to write a training plan for for each of my dogs over the coming months.

Not all of this is agility focussed, especially not all of my gang do agility! However it will focus my attention on their overall health and their physical and mental wellbeing.

If your dog has great recall and is 9 months or older, this is the perfect way to build the foundation skills for agility training! Our course is designed to help you and your dog get a head start in a fun, supportive indoor environment. 🌟

Details:
📅 When: Fridays, 8:00-9:00 PM
📍 Where: Long Itchington (indoors)
💷 Cost: £95 for the full 6 weeks
🐕 Max dogs per class: 5

Fabulous work from Dex getting his first win in grade 6, and for Ruby getting her last win at grade 5 and is now moving up to grade 6. Congratulations are also due this week to Poppy on her Grade 1 wins, and her owner camping at a show for the first time. Kylo for his consistency at weaving in the ring, Crafty getting a cheeky 2nd place, Lyrik also getting a 2nd, Harry for having some great drive, Chester for an awesome dog walk contact and generally good contacts all weekend. Congratulations to all handlers, and dogs who went out and had fun this weekend 😍. That is the main point of agility after all.
