Even though my assistant calls all of the puppies "Butterbean," this group of girls ended up being called Thelma and Louise.

Today, Tango is celebrating his 7th birthday. We also recently retired him, even though we know the guys say that isn't a good retirement gift (getting neutered). He will get to enjoy his retirement with his guardian family. Thank you, Terri for talking such good care of him and making him available when we have him a date.

We finally got some photos with Joni recently. She appreciated her time in the pecan grove and scooped up as many pecans as she could before my assistant had to put the camera down and take the pecans away from her.

She will be competing with her sister "Bali" as one of our up and coming girls.

𝗜𝘁 𝘄𝗮𝘀 𝟮𝟭 𝘆𝗲𝗮𝗿𝘀 𝗮𝗴𝗼 𝘁𝗼𝗱𝗮𝘆

DownUnder's first litter was born 21 years ago today to our girl, Hannah. She started off .labradoodles.usa breeding program. It is hard to comprehend that our next litter will be our 100th - 𝙩𝙝𝙖𝙩 𝙞𝙨 𝙖 𝙡𝙤𝙩 𝙤𝙛 𝙥𝙪𝙥𝙥𝙞𝙚𝙨! We appreciate hearing the stories of how much joy our puppies bring to your families - and those therapy dogs that know no strangers - and Hannah started it all.

We want to thank everyone for our success and appreciate opening your homes and hearts to our furry snuggle bugs. Thanks to everyone for continuing to keep us going for 21 years with spreading the joy of Hannah's legacy.

🎃 𖢧𖦪𖥣𖥐𖢉 𖥕𖦪 𖢧𖦪𖠢𖧥𖢧 ⚰️

It seems that Trick or Treat is the correct thing to say this year - especially with an election in just a few days. These are some spooky times indeed so we selected our Hitchcock inspired photos for todays post. Hitchcock was "The Master of Suspense" and seems perfect for this years timing. Our damsel in distress is "Tula" and we promise, she was not hurt in the taking of these photos - she was just yawning but she sure looks scared.

🥇 We got the Gold 🏆
The Gold Paw is awarded to breeders who have had their breeding dogs examined by board certified ophthalmologist, verified through the OFA and given by the ALAA.

It was hard enough to get board certified ophthalmologist appointment before covid hit but that made things almost impossible. My assistant has been working hard for almost a year now - getting those appointments, co-ordinating with our guardians transporting to appointments, filing proper paperwork and we are proud to be golden now!

Please don't remind my assistant, Gloria, that we will be doing this all again in less than 18 months.

Our Jade is 11 years old today. She still loves to go out and run the yard with her bestie, Bling. She is never a problem at all until it's time to do her toe nails.

Late in posting this, today is BLING'S 10TH BIRTHDAY! She has slowed down a bit, but still has lots of love to give and still enjoys watching the squirrels out in the back yard. She is the one on the left in the two headed dog photo. LOL

As you can see, Pinch enjoys her beauty sleep. She has mastered the greatest sleep positions in her 8 years on this earth. This may look easy but only trained professionals can pull off this kind of magic.

Introducing Bᴀʟɪ

Here is one of our up and coming girls, Bali. This little tropical delight is out of our Brooklyn and Oliver breeding. She is a chocolate and white parti-colored girl - we would say around the 30 # mark. Bali's temperament is just as relaxed as sitting the beach with a drink in your hand.

We will be doing her final health clearance next month so we are hoping to be rolling this girl out soon.
