We CANNOT stress the 3/3/3 rule enough! Animals, like people, need time to adjust and decompress in a new home 🏡.

Your new foster, or furever 🐾 Frenchie, will be a completely different dog in just a few days/weeks/months time! Patience is key 🥰

I’m Kya! I’m 2.5 years old and full of energy! I am a sweet and curious girl who will become your shadow very quickly. I can be very independent, but if you’re home, you’re my best friend! If you’re eating, I want to eat too; if you’re napping, I’m napping with you; if you go out, I want to go too! I love car and bike rides. I quickly learn my person’s or family schedule and adjust/adhere to it.

I have been living with my foster mom and brother (11 years old). I do well with children and adults, I adjust to other dogs after about 10 minutes. I get excited to see other people, dogs, cats, lizards, birds and will try to jump on them in a playful manner. I am a good leash walker and only pull when I see the previously mentioned animals, however, my foster mom has trained me to “move on”. I am a very loving dog, very affectionate and snuggly!

I am a good eater, but sometimes I eat and drink too quickly which leads me to tummy issues. (My foster mom gives me a Pepcid every morning and that seems to help.) I am potty trained (even know how to use a litter box) and crate trained. I love my toys, I also love to chew on my foster brothers small toys so those have to be kept away from me. I also love to snuggle with the dirty laundry…so maybe keep that out of my reach too!
