🐾 New Florida Animal Protection Laws 🐾

Florida has taken important steps forward for animals with Dexter’s Law and Trooper’s Law.

🐶 Dexter’s Law creates a statewide animal abuse registry and strengthens penalties for animal cruelty — helping rescues keep pets out of dangerous hands.

🚓 Trooper’s Law makes it a felony to abandon or restrain animals during declared disasters or evacuations.

These laws save lives. Please share and help us protect Florida’s animals. ❤️🐶

Foster a Bulldog and Make a Difference! We have over 25 dogs waiting to get into rescue. 🐶

WE ARE LOOKING FOR FOSTER HOMES IN TAMPA, ORLANDO, AND JACKSONVILLE!

⬆️ We have established relationships with vets in this area.

All food, vet care, and medications will be provided for the foster dog.

➡️ We do require all pets in the home to be spayed/neutered, up to date on vaccinations, on heartworm prevention, and flea/tick prevention for the health and safety of our animals.

➡️ Must be willing and able to separate fosters from other pets in the house.

➡️ If you have a pool we do require a safety fence or alarm for the safety of our animals.

➡️ Prior bulldog experience, homes with no other pets, and homes with cats a plus.

As we welcome the new year, we’re filled with gratitude for everything this community made possible. Because of you, we were able to say yes to the dogs who needed us most — the medical cases, seniors, and overlooked souls.

Another reminder to please microchip your dogs. And just as important—make sure the chip is registered and your contact information is kept up to date.

You never know when a microchip could be the reason a lost or stolen dog makes it back home where they belong. A few minutes now can mean a lifetime together.
