When we first met 12 year old Molly, she was described as a nervous spaniel. We were told to expect an aloof dog who'd rather hide in her crate. But it didn't take long to bring her out of her shell. At first, she'd look back nervously on walks, but with some guidance, she learned to follow and soon was walking ahead and happily returning when called. By night three, she'd claimed her spot by the fire! She's a gentle soul and yes, Annie's fallen in love (again)!

We're lighting a candle for Freddie and his owner, a little pause to honour his ten years of life coming to an end this afternoon. Freddie walked regularly with us from 2017. He was mad as a box of frogs, the happiest of dogs! His enthusiasm was off the scale! After five years his arthritis meant we had to reduce to shorter walks and then we had to stop completely. But if Freddie was walking in the park with his owner and he got a whiff of us, he'd bound over and squeal with excitement! We're so glad we could visit him one last time yesterday. Run free Freddie, thankyou for all the joy you brought. 🧡
