We've been back to the vet this week as Mr Brambles' lumps have returned in his mouth. They can't be operated on, so it's a case of living with it as long as he's comfortable. We'll carry on as normal for now, but please bear with us! 🙏

Gorgeous Dulcie died peacefully this month, with her owners at her side giving her hugs and strokes. She was another CC original, walking regularly with us and frequently staying for holidays over the last eleven years. Dulcie made her presence known with her repetitive WOOFS if we stopped for a chat or to sing a birthday song - the only way to keep her quiet in these situations was with ear rubs! We'll also miss the sound of her jingle bells which we added to her collar three years ago when her hearing deteriorated. This last year we've watched her slow down and quieten and we reduced her walks from three a week, eventually to just the occasional potter in the park. What a privilege to be able to visit her the day before she died, to say goodbye and thank you. We'll think of Dulcie whenever we see beautiful orange flowers (an orange butterfly briefly flew in while writing this 🦋). We're so grateful to have loved Dulcie doo, our thoughts are with her family at this very sad time. 🧡🧡🧡🧡🧡🧡🧡🧡🧡🧡🧡🧡🧡🧡🧡
