Our main goals are to establish a shelter/refuge for rescued, abandoned or abused animals in Mitchell County and the region; to reduce the overpopulation of unwanted pets by promoting spay/neuter; to relieve suffering of all animals; to provide humane education; to provide foster homes for needy animals; to place rescued animals into permanent adoptive homes and to support animal rights legislatio

n. We are committed to provide financial aid to low income households for the purpose of spaying or neutering pets. We provide emergency aid for initial veterinary assessment/care to animal accident victims.

❤️❤️❤️PUPPY HAS BEEN ADOPTED❤️❤️❤️ He’s one sweet fur Kid!!!!!!! 🤩 Awe ❤️we are all so in love with Puppy! Yes, Puppy was his given name and he knows it 😊 This special boy melted our hearts and instantly wanted held and snuggled. He has my vote for the best puppy hugs and kisses. Puppy is blind but is so adaptable to his surroundings. He has been blind since birth but at a young age of 4 he has adjusted well. We think he might see some shadows of movement or he’s just so smart his sense of smell and hearing enables his ability to navigate without hesitation. Puppy shows no signs of fear or nervousness not even in his new surroundings. He took his first truck ride today and loved it! Pup will need a fenced in area for his protection as he is housebroken and is used to going in and out. He was with kids so he enjoys a family setting. He has such a sweet disposition that he would make a great therapy animal....no barking or jumping with this well behaved kiddo. With any special needs animal he will need extra vet care as he ages due to his eyes and blindness but other than that he’s absolutely perfect.
