Maranda is a UKC Ch. We showed Saturday and Sunday at the Oxford Dog Sports extravaganza. She won Best of Winners all four shows. Thank you to all the judges for recognizing my girl. ( U. Ch. Beaucaniche Raven Quintessential Maranda).

How many balls does a poodle need? Mine always loved Kong Tennis Squeakers. But to get better profits they cheapened their rubber. A real waste of money. And my report, to them
of how their balls no longer lasted for years. Let alone they barely lasted days. Well that fell on deaf ears. I am now on the lookout for a company that makes quality squeaker tennis balls. This ball collector is Tessa. She is from our Mimi Ben litter nine years ago. I have no idea what her favourite balls are. It just appears she loves them.

First show, first points for my Miya (Beaucaniche Kinder Hearts Content). I always get a first points photo (even if the weather was horrid and I only had time to put a bubble in). Thank you so much to judge Patricia Taylor who only had complimentary words to say about Miya. Miya did go on to get further compliments from another judge and more points. She was a good girl and I am so proud. When I first thought about growing her into a continental I thought what for? But now I'm glad I did because it shows off what a pretty girl she is.

A few years ago Barbra and I went to a dog show in Michigan to do Health testing. We stayed over at a hotel because we had L o r n e taking care of our other poodles. It was a great time to be remembered.

Our Story

The love of a Standard Poodle will change your life. The responsibility of breeding to enhance the Standard Poodle is not to be taken lightly. Health, Structure, Temperament are just a few of the keys to breeding with the betterment of the breed in mind. Our Poodles have Conformation titles in both Canadian Kennel Club and United Kennel Club. This is to ensure that are poodles are bred to the breed standard. Titles in Rally Obedience and Obedience, Canine Good Neighbour Certifications are stepping stones to owning Poodles with friendly, intelligent temperaments. Diligent health testing (hips,eyes, dna, heart etc.) is paramount and done on our poodles. We keep educated on new tests as they come available and utilise them. All of our poodles also have UC Davis Diversity profiles.

If you are interested in one of our poodles be aware that we breed very infrequently. All of our poodles reside in our home and they are members of our family. We do not breed our Poodles continuously, just to have puppies to sell. We breed them because we are looking for our next family member, our next poodle to enjoy showing and doing performance with and to love. While we love having a litter of puppies and we get immense joy from watching them develop, we do not just breed our dogs for the sake of breeding. We feel no bitch needs to have litter after litter, back to back and from the earliest age they can be bred. This is our credo and we realise and accept that other Standard Poodles breeders may choose a different path.
