Usually on our morning walks, I defend Mom from various unknown dangers as we pass by strangers. She never seems to appreciate my efforts. She scolds me, and gives a Stern command of 'DON'T BARK'!
This morning, I walked silently passed 2 possible no-good-niks at the bus stop. I figure since she doesn't appreciate me putting my life on the line for her, she's on her own.
Do you know what I got?? Three 'you are the bestest boy', and 2 'such a good boy!' and 5-37 treats (I lost count).
Seriously....
Humans are so confusing.

Sometimes, I think maybe Mom has lost her ever-loving mind.
Other times, she leaves no doubt.
Apparently, there's a 'wrapping paper challenge'.

Yes, I was aware that Mom was trying to sleep in.
Yes, I know that my bark is rather loud. Mom and Dad say it could wake the dead.

It's not my fault that a fly was buzzing around early this morning.
That fly had to go, and I needed the opposable thumbs of my humans to open the door.
