This years event will also combine with the "Take A Peak" Chicken Coop Tour.

The "Take A Peak Chicken Coop Tour" is now taking submissions for May 18-19 . 2024! This FREE EVENT is Colorado Springs "Parade of Homes for Chicken Coops"! In years past, hundreds of people have attended this event and left with great idea's on how to raise their own chickens!

Backyard Farm Fest

We are Kellie and Tracy Dodson of Homegrown and Happiness. Our life has become backyard farming. We do it for our family first and to teadch other second. We have learned so much of the year and love to share it with anyone who will listen. That drive brings us to the purpose of this event/group/page.

Backyard Farming has grown heavily over the past few years. More and more people are going back to the old ways (and new ways). Growing their own food, raising their own livestock and doing it ALL in their own backyards. Big or small, they fill our wonderful city!

This group is going to be gathering the backyard farming community and setting up events throughout the year to help other catch the “Backyard Framing Bug”!
