Private indoor/outdoor space with 4 bowling lanes. Each bowling group of 4 to 6 members will have an hour to bowl 2 games! All tickets include food and a cash bar along with access to arcade/pool & other games , bidding for amazing raffles, and door prizes. Callie Girl
A couple of weeks ago we were asked to help with a young little munchkin that was found on Kelly Drive by some amazing good samaritans. After meeting her, we asked the best foster mom in town if she would foster her….Callie the little tiny girl all the way to the right of the screen is becoming an amazing young lady in a very short time. We do not think she will be up for adoption, as one of our wonderful adopters saw a picture of her and they have already done meets with their pup. We are taking it slow and making sure the girls are going to be bffs and going from there 🙂 In the meantime, the crew is enjoying having a little sister to play with ❤️🙌🏼 Its hard to tell Callie apart from our very own Daphne @sk8tr_gurl_daphne 😍 and most likely why we fell in love with her right away and made sure she stayed out of the shelter system ❤️
Meet Charlie! The folks at @sidepaws worked with her owners and got Charlie not only off a chain but also spayed. Charlie has had many litters in the past and this is a step in the right direction. We were able to sponsor charlie’s enclosure cost of $600 so that she would be safe from the elements and also other dogs in her residence. @sidepaws is a grassroots group that works with owners to make changes in the quality and care of dogs. Making changes in the community will ensure a brighter future for pets in the future.

Peter Pan must have confirmed placement with an ADOPTER, FOSTER or RESCUE PARTNER by Thursday, July 28th, at 10 a.m. Should Peter Pan's medical or behavioral status change, his urgency and timeline for placement may also change. Email [email protected] to foster through Acct. Acct is open from 10am-6pm daily for walk up adoptions. This dog is evaluated as a green level dog. This means that brand new volunteers are permitted to handle and walk him because he’s that easy going. Just go to acct to meet him this weekend. Acct has reduced overall kennel space from 112 to 59 large dog kennels, and really need dogs to be adopted/rescued/fostered or they’ll be euthanized.
Peter Pan is a young male mixed breed dog who was brought into the shelter as a stray on June 29th. The finder noted that he was loving and good around other animals, and very good on leash. Staff noted on 6/30 that he was "easy to leash, and wanted to say hi to everyone he passed. He was loose and social with his handler, and solicited attention, allowing full body pets. He had a wagging tail and was very tolerant of touching his paws, too. If the handler stopped petting, he would whine and seek out more pets. He was playful and pretty gentle, and jumped beside the handler but not on her." During his vet exam on 6/30, the vet noted that he has bilateral ear infections and bleeding excoriations on both pinna that may need follow up care, but they have improved with treatment, He also has a right maxillary canine tooth that will likely require extraction at some point.
Aubrey had a blast hopping around the city with her volunteer pal & foster, Michael. This is what he had to say about her:
Aubrey (ANIMAL ID ACCT-A-115534) is a sweet, gentle girl looking for a place to call home and a soft blanket on which to spend most of her time. Aubrey does not seem interested in chew toys. She is most interested in her blanket. She spends most of the day on her bed; but when she’s not sleeping, she’s sitting at my feet soliciting scratches and pets. Aubrey has been a wonderful companion, an especially affectionate girl. When she receives enough attention, she will then snooze on my feet. After a few minutes on my feet, she will get up and seek out the comfort of her blanket. Maybe she needs all the rest she can to get ready for her next walk. She has shown herself to be housetrained—no accidents.
On our walks, she sometimes prances with her steps and finds patches of grass to roll in. She will sit when told, and she’ll offer her paw when requested. These past few days, Aubrey has displayed patient and quiet behavior when in her crate for up to an hour. I will see how she does for longer periods of time. Aubrey will always alert me with a few barks when someone passes my door. It’s been a terrific experience spending time with a friendly and social girl.

🚽Bentley is definitely house trained and trying hard to stay that way while at ACCT.
🐶 He will need a refresher in manners once he’s in a home, but he promises to repay in cuddles.
🧡 After so much time in a shelter, Bentley needs a patient family ready and willing to give him time to decompress (as much time as 𝘩𝘦 needs).
🐾 Bentley is dog selective, so he’d need to meet any potential fur siblings prior to going home.
💔 Sadly, this is not Bentley’s first stay at the shelter. Before his owner had to go into a nursing home, he’d had a family for 5 years.
