Fun day last weekend getting this first shoot done. Breeders helping fellow breeders for the betterment of the breed is what it’s all about. Conformation, Performance, and Pet quality. The TLHW TRIP night 2 was spent in Fairmont, WV. Guba's main goal is to sploot in every state. Chief complaint.....it's all about Aunt Susan Kenkel! BGB lol. Inside joke. As long as he's having fun and is in a good mood he can sleep with Aunt Susan. We are on the final leg of our trip and will reach NYC area this afternoon.

TLHW TRIP night one. GUBA traveled through 4 states. We landed in TN and went to first hotel that traditionally takes pets. Even posted on their website they did. Only to be told "oh we changed our policy a month ago." Needless to say the ex-New Yorker came out of me when I said "did you ever think about updating your website? (Maybe a few other things too)" Ended up next door and spent twice as much on the room because they charged me an additional fee for Guba. So I looked at Guba and said "Guba you roll around on that white duvet all you want. We paid for that!" Followed by a sploot. His favorite resting position. Special thank you to Heather Williams owner of Lonestar Pets for living at the house and taking care of the farm!

Marvelous Mudi's Oops Yaz competed in his first FCAT this past weekend as a competitor at Top Dog Training Center Helotes Tx. His fastest time was a 23.81 mph run, We will be back for some more next month. I love looking looking at pictures of his curls in motion. This boy is head to toe thick curls. Co-owned by Susan Kenkel and Renee Dougalas.

The PERIODIC TABLE LITTER! Marvelous Mudi's GCH CH Koves-Berci Betyar Gyoztes Guba and Menagerie’s Marvelous Mayzi IT welcomed 9 beautiful girls into the world. After getting over the fact we had 9 girls I finally sat down and did our photos. Puppies are 4th generation. Parental testing OFA/CHIC and genetic available upon request.

GIRLS! GIRLS! GIRLS! Insert Motley Crue song here at Marvelous Mudi's! Well I had a theme picked out for the litter...until we had 9 straight females in the wee hours the other morning. Now, until that song stops resonating in my mind, I will go with a simple post! GCH CH Koves-Berci Betyar Gyoztes Guba and Menagerie’s Marvelous Mayzi IT welcomed 9 beautiful girls into the world. Mommy and puppies are doing well. In fact in true working dog fashion, 14 hours after delivering, she cried to go out with the others while I fed the goats and cattle. Hopped 2 four foot fences, gave me a heart attack by going in with the cattle and bringing them into the shed! Gasp.....not now....I don't want anything happening to my Heart Mudi Mayzi! OFA and Embark/Health tested parents.

Litter announcement in the house of Marvelous Mudi's!!!! GCH CH Koves-Berci Betyar Gyoztes Guba and Menagerie’s Marvelous Mayzi IT, 2 Majors few extra points needed. No words can describe the love I have for Guba. His natural stack is amazing from day one. His herding instinct is fully intact. Now that my hip is healing, and I am off the cane, I had him in with my goats last night. His driving and fetching instincts are so natural. My Mayzi is my Heart Mudi. Athletics are her thing. She loves agility class and is fearless. Herding? Forget about it! Just open the gate and say “Time to get the ponies!” and bam she’s gone. Only to be back in sight when I hear horses coming into their pen. This will be a Conformation. Sport, Working or family pet litter. Expected colors Merle and Black. Tail length long or NBT. OFA and Embark available upon request. Puppies will be 4th generation.

New Champion in the house of Marvelous Mudi's. Texas Marvelous Matilda Pearl recently earned her CH Title. Prior to this little lady becoming available I swore I would only import. Diversifying my bloodline was one of the three major goals of my breeding program. Temperment, structure, and bloodline. Then my dearest friend Janie Killian Marze of Texas Mudi had this litter. When I read her pedigree I was sold. Tilly Pearl has it all. Height, bone structure, beautiful skull and the MOST feminine face I have ever seen.

Miss Mayzi! My heart Mudi. I am to her what she is to me. EVERYTHING!! The driver courier brought her to me and placed her on the ground, she ran up to me, stood on her back legs, wrapped her little paws around my calf, and looked up. Our eyes met and we imprinted. As I rest recovering from a broken hip she never leaves my side. Things need to get done here on the farm and as the Beyonce song says "I'm a single lady!" Mayzi is the ultimate working Mudi here. Just open the gate and say "It's time to get the ponies" and bam she's gone! It's a big property and sooner or later you can see and hear them coming in. She even mentors the other Mudi's in herding.

Grand Champion in the the house of Marvelous Mudi's!!!!! GCH CH Koves-Berci Betyar Gyoztes Guba earned his GCH CH at the Sulfur Springs, TX show October 14 & 15, 2023. Both days he won BOS which gave him the extra points needed for his Grand Championship. Texas Marvelous Matilda Pearl on day 2 of show won her second Major needed towards her Champion Title. Just 5 points to go!!! She has the most beautiful face and has come so far from the first day she came to the farm as a shy little dog!

So I have to say I have concerns my mudi cumminity seems to be removing my posts on 2 sites. My post is no different than anyone else's. I'm not part of clicks and have STRONG mudi support where I live but I do believe it's petty. My goal with my dogs is that they are well rounded loved structurally correct with wonderful temperaments. Those goals are reflected in my Big Lebowski litter. We should build each other up as a community not tear each other down. It's about the dogs. Not the humans.

4 shows and 4 days of great results. I swear they will engrave "better late than never" on my headstone when it comes to posting. Koves-Berci Betyar Gyoztes Guba brought home 4 Best of Majors. Mecseki Bundas Harmonia earned 2 majors needed for her Champion title. Lastly, Marvelous Mudi's Oops Ocella earned her first Major as winners Bitch.

The fourth pup from the Big Lebowski Litter (Bunny now Oni) made her way all the way to the state of New York. I had many conversations with her new mom Pamela. She told me how she taught her Aussie the alphabet with flash cards. Sure enough on her page there it was!!! I expect great things from Oni and her new mom.

Few weeks behind on this but our third placement from the Big Lebowski Litter Theodore now Oliver is such a great story. His new owner Will Gavin had family dogs his entire life. He completed college and started his career several years ago. He finally decided that he wanted his own dog for the first time. After much research and phone calls Oliver was a perfect match for him. Oliver was the largest in the litter. You can truly see the OCCR male structure in him. So happy to bring together this young man and his first dog.

Last week our second puppy, from the Big Lebowski Litter) went to her forever home in San Diego, CA. Her mom, Brittany Aja Dolan, is a Marine Biologist getting her Master's and working at SeaWorld. This was a VERY special placement. Say hello to Marvelous Mudi's Evelyn Rose (formerly Maude). Little Evie is the spitting image of her mama Ki and grandmother Hilarow Laz.....both from Twisted Acres.

The first Mudi puppy from Marvelous and OCCR's The Big Lebowski Litter (aka Walter now Bender) went home with new owner Kayla King a week ago. The litter was evaluated by the renowned Joanne Fleming. Bender was the highest scoring male for sociability, food drive, toy drive, problem solving etc. This little boy is on to great things in the AKC/UKC world just like his daddy Bode.

Who doesn't love a swaddled baby (pup)? On May 21, 2023 The Great Lebowski Litter turned 3 weeks. This photo shoot was so much fun. I have been doing ENS with them since they were born. Which helped so much with laying them on their backs etc with no squirming. Such a great temperament litter. Sire and Dam: Marvelous Mudi's Twisted Acres Goddess Kali and OCCR Bode...Temperament and Structure....

TEMPERMENT AND STRUCTURE-I am pleased to announce that Twisted Acres Goddess Kali IT, 2 majors working on point AKC CH & point toward BCAT is in litter to Sire OCCR Bode UKC CH OCCR BODE CM CD BN RN BCAT IT. This is a very special and emotional litter for me. Even as I write this, I tear up, because I am so grateful for Kayla Kings mentoring and friendship. I wanted my Mudi’s to be true to their nature and was introduced to Kayla who helped me with herding. One day she said to me “what are your goals/wants for your breeding program?” In my head I said “the rainbow…one of every color…right?...who doesn’t love Merle’s…I look at my Mayzi and it’s like looking at a Jackson Po***ck. Every day I see a different pattern…brown, yellow…etc.” Then I looked down at Kali and said “I want that….her temperament….and producing lines with beautiful structure.” Those are the goals of my program. I am amazed and in awe of Kayla’s Mudi that make up OCCR. Especially Bode. Rebecca Ingersoll gave me a fantastic bitch. In conformation, she knows her job, and even a first-time handler/friend Justin Baker(one lesson class) showed her and she won BOS. She’s fierce at FCAT…..and there is no denying she has herding instinct. This union between OCCR and my kennel is dear to my heart…A few months ago I had an unexpected emergency on the farm…the first person I called was Kayla. She was at my door within minutes, and I didn’t even ask…words cannot express how much that meant to me…puppies are due at the end of April beginning of May. Puppies will be eligible for all AKC Events. All OFA and Embark for both Bitch and Sire are available upon request.
