Love planning fun events for cats and dogs in our community? Join our volunteer team as an event lead!

You can help us host events like kitten yoga, fundraising, brewery events, and more! As an event lead, you would communicate with the event partners and coordinate the details to have a successful event! The event lead position is flexible - choose what kind of events you’d like to lead and how often. It would be ideal if it’s one event at least every two months.

Our next wellness clinic is scheduled for March 16th! This is your opportunity to get your pets up to date on preventative vetting at a discounted price!🐶🐱

Services include:
Wellness Exams
Nail Trims
4DX (dogs) or Feline Triple Snap (cat) tests
Rabies, FVRCP/DHPP, and Bordetella vaccines
Microchip implanting and registration
Flea/Tick, Heartworm, and Dewormer preventatives

Ear cytologys

Planning on coming? Here are some things to keep in mind:
✅All dogs need to be on a leash and all cats should be in secure carriers
✅This is NOT an event for reactive pets
✅Vet exam us is not required for pets that are only receiving a nail trim, microchip, and/or FVRCP/DHPP vaccine
✅Free FVRCP and DHPP vaccine thanks to Petco Love

This event is first come first serve. When you arrive, check in with our volunteer team to be added to the waitlist. All pets checked in by 1 pm will be seen!

It’s time to add a sparkle to your life with a little Tinsel!🐶✨

I am a sweet girl, looking for my forever home where I can cuddle and play. Patience, peanut butter, and praise go a long way when training me, as I still have some learning to do. I am usually laid back with a low to moderate energy level, but at the same time I love to do zoomies and play with other dogs. Having a calm brother or sister dog would be great. I’m good with kids too. I look forward to finding a loving family to help me learn and grow along the way. I will be a great addition to your family!

We’re looking for folks interested in helping cats find foster homes! 🐱

Cat foster coordinators play an important part in helping cats in rescue by being the main point of contact for cat fosters. In this role, you will respond to a variety of emails from fosters and work to address concerns, answer questions, and celebrate wins. Candidate requirements include general knowledge about cats and their care needs and a computer with reliable internet connection.

We are sharing Trooper again as we have still not had any luck finding him a forever home❤️

Trooper has now been with TCPR for almost 850 days and we want nothing more than for him to find his happily ever after!

Trooper is a very handsome 5-year-old German Shepherd. He was found on the streets severely underweight and in pretty bad shape. Through some much-needed love and care from his amazing fosters, he is now back to a normal weight. His past life has made him weary of strangers, but he will warm up with some patience.

He is a very smart boy and knows not only all of his basic commands, but also how to place and go in his kennel. Trooper is a big fan of going on walks and play wrestling but is also pretty good at lounging around especially when it involves cuddles or belly scratches.

There are a few items that Trooper could continue working on, but if given the shot, he is a great dog who just loves his humans and wants a chance at a forever home.❤️

Trooper's adoption fee has been reduced to $100 in hopes that will encourage someone to take a chance on this gentle giant.

FOSTER NEEDED🚨

Griffin is looking for a new foster due to no fault of his own! He is a 2-year-old pittie mix who loves everyone he meets. His trademark greeting is a big wet nose boop! Griffin loves to chew on bones and rope toys. He is playful with most dogs and likes to tear around in the snowy backyard. He loves dogs and people, but likes to chase cats. He is potty trained and does well in his crate when nobody is home and at night. He is a sweet and affectionate boy with so much love to give!❤️

When fostering with TCPR, we will provide all of the supplies and support that you need all we ask is that you open up some space in your home while a dog waits to find their forever home.

🚨 Help Harrison Ford Fight for His Life! 🚨

Meet Harrison Ford, or Harry for short—one of the sweetest boys you'll ever meet. Born on the streets of Minneapolis, Harry was lucky to be part of a well-cared-for colony where he was neutered and well-fed. He thrived under the care of his dedicated feeder, tipping the scales at a healthy 14 pounds.

But then, everything changed.

One day, Harry vanished without a trace. His caretaker was worried sick when he didn’t show up for his usual breakfast, lunch, or dinner. For 14 long days, he was missing. When he finally returned, he was a shell of his former self—dangerously underweight, weak, and barely holding on.

His caretaker rushed him inside and tried everything to get him to eat, but nothing worked. That’s when we stepped in, dropping everything to see him that very same day, knowing his condition was critical. After several unsuccessful treatments, the devastating truth was revealed: Harry had FIP (Feline Infectious Peritonitis).

For years, FIP was considered a death sentence. But thanks to recent breakthroughs in treatment, there is hope! We immediately started Harrison on life-saving medication, and within just a few days, he began eating on his own again. But the battle is far from over. Harry lost half his body weight while he was missing—likely trapped somewhere with no food or water—and he has a long road to recovery ahead.
