How cute are Ash & Emma?🥰
Emma was very shy when she came to us and is getting braver every day. She is a total purr box and loves to make biscuits. She also loves being brushed, chasing toys, and cuddling with her brother Ash.
Ash is also shy and is doing his best and getting braver every day. Just after a few days he was following his foster mom around to ask for kisses. Treats are the way to his heart and he loves chin scratches and cuddling with Emma.
Emma and Ash are both available for adoption either together or separate. What to learn more about them? Visit https://www.twincitiespetrescue.org/adoptable-animals

DONATIONS NEEDED FOR TWEEZER!
Tweezer is an adorable 2 month old kitten who had a rough start to life. He came to TCPR from a TNR project where he was born outside with his siblings. Tweezer arrived malnourished and struggling to eat. But his amazing foster worked with our vetting team to get his appetite back up and he's starting to gain weight so we thought he was in the clear. But today they noticed that his breathing is rapid and shallow which is really concerning 😿
His foster is on the way to the ER right now to help us get to the bottom of what could be going on and we will post updates as we get them! But we could REALLY use some help covering his vet bill. It's been a busy year with surprise medical issues and our bank account is feeling the pressure.
The exam will be around $200 so that is our starting goal! But once we know more about what Tweezers treatment plan will look like, that will likely increase.

URGENT! Can you help foster Nonnie?
Nonnie arrived at St.Paul Animal Control (SPAC) as a stray with an upper respiratory illness (aka a cold). She wasn't feeling the best but is improving everyday and expected to make a full recover. However, she is contagious to other dogs and in a small shelter setting that can be a very scary thing.
SPAC has her quarantined away from other dogs but it's requiring that they close off an entire ward that could be used for other dogs to ensure that her illness does not spread. This isn't a good long term solution for an animal shelter that is already overflowing with dogs. So she needs to get out asap!
TCPR would be willing to take her into rescue but first we need a foster that can help her recover frothier URI and get her routine vetting completed once she's healthy again.
Here is what we know about her:
-Estimated to be 2 years old, likely intact (so she will need to be spayed once she's feeling better)
-Good with people, untested with dogs and cats. But she can hear other dogs barking and is relaxed so thats a good sign. (No, we can not test her with other animals right now as she is in quarantine)
We are looking for a foster that:
-Can keep her quarantined from other dogs and potentially cats if she ends up being too interested in them.
-Is located within 60 miles of Maplewood, MN
-Is comfortable transporting their her to our office and other vet clinics as needed (in the metro area)
-Willing to foster her until adoption or until another foster can be found
If you are able to help, please submit a foster application here and note that you would like to foster Nonnie:

She needs to get into a foster home asap so we are hoping to find someone that has availability to be onboarded today and bring her home this evening! This would include a virtual home visit with one of our volunteers and picking her and her supplies up from our office in Maplewood.
