The growth is insane. We’re still not perfect but we are nearly there. The toes are healing, the hair has grown back, the ear mites & fleas are gone and Leo is growing into a beautiful lion ❤️

Leo just got back from the vet & all is well.
- we have a new treatment plan for his toes.

I wanted to write that this journey has been so emotional and it’s something you truly aren’t prepared for until it happens to you. Rescuing an animal, becoming attached to them & then fearing to lose them in their sickest moments. This journey has been such a roller coaster ride with so many ups and downs. There are also people who don’t understand the love and passion to save and help animals.. that part hits home for me. There aren’t many people around me who get it. I’m so thankful to have this group of people on here who understand. I can’t thank you all enough for the support and help. In our hardest moments I look back and see how far Leo has come.. while the journey is hard, it has also been so rewarding.
I’ll continue to update on here and take you along our journey. Much love xoxo, Leo & Jessie. ❤️

Hey everyone!
Leo’s vet unfortunately had an emergency yesterday so he wasn’t able to go! However he will go on Monday.

I want to reiterate that he is doing well and he’s stable he just has a little lingering sickness. If anything was to change I would take him to an emergency vet but he’s very alert, eating and playful today ❤️

LEO update Wednesday April 10th:

It’s been several days since we’ve updated. We have good and badish news.

Let’s start with the bad.
Leo started coughing again last night randomly and breathing kind of weird again. His toes are also just meh.

The good.
We don’t think it’s anything life threatening. He is eating and growing and doing well overall. Just having the sickness come and go.
Tomorrow he’s going back to vet for some testing. My vet thinks it’s possibly something fungal internal and external. If all goes okay and I pick Leo back up from the vet tomorrow I will do a live tomorrow evening around 8PM EST on Leo’s page. (This one)

Hi everyone! Leo Update ❤️

Leo is doing really well. I’m noticing day by day is cough getting better and a lot less.
He’s eating well, sleeping, playing all of the fun kitten things.

Right now our biggest hurdle is his toes. His poor little toes were so infected with the fungus when I got hime that they are having some trouble healing. They are still way better than when I first got him but still have a little ways to go.. over the next few days I will be monitoring how they do with the cream we are using and if it isn’t helpful I’ll be taking him back to our vet at the end of this week.

Continue to pray for Leo and that his health stays on the upside, we’re so thankful for each and every one of you you!

Leo here.. we have some updates but it’s a bit hard to share everything on one post.
Soooo with that being said would anyone be Interested in a live with me and Leo? Please comment YES or NO 🙂

I would love to answer questions and talk with you all about Leo!

Hello everyone!
I have created this page for the “Leo Lovers” to be able to follow along with his journey, inspire others & stay connected with this little lion whom we all love so much.
A few facts if you are new here:
- Leo was recused on 3/17/24
-When Leo was rescued he had a bad case of ringworm, fungus on his toes, ear mites, and some respiratory issues. All of which he is still healing from, his journey has had a lots of ups and downs but right now he’s doing very well.
-He is a full blooded Siamese.
-His expected birthdate is 1/13/24 with a possibly of it being 1/25/25.
-Leo has one Persian brother, a doggy brother and sister, a ferret sister & 3 human siblings.

Feel free to share this page with fellow Siamese lovers & all who care for these babies as much as I do!
