Not many of you know but I donate my time to help rescues with there difficult dogs to rehabilitate, and make them adoptable so they can live a normal life in a loving home.
This one is Marcus. He’s been staying with me for a while and is ready for a home.
He’s been in rescue for a long time and now would love his own special person.
He’s now a pleasure to to have and I’m going to find it difficult to let him go.
If you might be interested I can put you in touch with the rescue.

This is Shadow. He has a lot of problems that we are going to fix together so that he can go to a forever home.
Many of Ray's students are enrolled in our canine freestyle classes. They find that it is a great way to bond with their dog, while having fun at the same time. Freestyle involves teaching your dog many different movements and tricks. It can be adapted to any dog or any breed as the guidelines do not restrict what tricks can be performed. The possibilities are endless. Below is Ray Underwood and Magic demonstrating the "back weave", which Ray invented about 20 years ago. Let us know which tricks your dog loves to perform.
Ray Underwood performing a Canine Musical Freestyle routine with his border collie, Magic. If you were to describe this routine in one word, which word would you choose? _____________________?
The skill of Come/Recall is one of the most important taught in all levels of our obedience classes. Who has had a dog bolt out of the front door? The command "come" will help to prevent your dog from running out and visiting an aggressive dog on the street, will prevent your dog from jumping all over an unappreciative pedestrian, will prevent your dog from getting hit by a car, and many more... As soon as your dog starts to bolt, you would simply say "come" and your dog would come running back to you. At Underwood's Dog Obedience we can help you with this skill. Can anyone else think of other reasons why the recall is so important? Here is a short clip of "Cato", the Tervuren, perfecting his recall in the backyard of our Brookswood training centre.
Dog Training is a great hobby for all ages. Here is a short clip of 13 year old Lucas , teaching his Mixed Breed Bernese , how to do the "crawl".
After finishing the pet classes, many of Ray's students decide to continue on with various dog sports as a hobby. Ray offers one such dog sport called Canine Freestyle. This is a short video of a team routine that his students are working on. The routine is still in the beginning stages, but you will be able to see some of the fun tricks that the dogs learn in these classes: Going backwards around the handler, weaving through legs backwards and forwards, etc. etc. Enjoy!
Here is little "Kevin" from Scottsdale Veterinary Hospital. He is doing very well in the level one class, as can be seen by his fantastic "stay" at a distance.
