We have been fairly quiet lately, but we are still here and trying to help the pets of Lee County! We may not be as active as we have been in years past, but our small group of 3 volunteers is still working to do what we can, when we can. This morning, we were able to place 8 cats, 1 adult dog, and 6 puppies from our local animal control. While these transports are few and far between (usually once a month, or once every other month), they still require resources. We haven't fundraised in a long, long time...but we really could use some help with our current bills.

We most recently paid over $600 for insurance, renewed our PO box, and have all the while been paying for these monthly/bimonthly transports which includes rabies vaccines and health certificates. If you are able, we would be so grateful for help covering some of these costs. We are still a 501c3 nonprofit, and while we are not doing quite as much as we have previously, we are still active and still requiring financial assistance to operate.

Enjoy a picture of one of our kitties from this morning, loaded up and ready to head on their adventure toward a better life!

Our PayPal is [email protected], or checks can be sent to PO Box 3536 Auburn AL 36831

This week we were able to help save 14 kitties from Lee County Animal Control, thanks to our rescue partners and to Susan DeAngelo who drove for us! Here are some of the kitties we moved this week (some are pictured twice). If you are able to donate to help us cover the cost of vaccines and health certificates, we would appreciate it! Our PayPal address is [email protected].

We’ve been a little quiet lately, but we want to give an update and assure you all that we are still working hard to help the homeless animals in Lee county!

For whatever reason, within the last year or two it has been increasingly more difficult to place animals within rescue organizations. This is not only true for us, but for the animal welfare community as a whole. There have always been too many animals and not enough homes, and that seems to be more true now than ever before. While we have not been able to do weekly transports like we once did, we are still working hard to do as much as we can. So far since January, we have placed roughly 14 dogs and 17 cats with rescue partners. Enjoy a few of their pictures below and please continue to support us as we try to do all that we can, however much or little that may be.
