We are SO EXCITED to share that our parvo pups officially made it and have been discharged from the vet!! And almost just as exciting is that all of your donations added up to almost the exact amount we needed to save them, down to the dollar! Their bill was a little over $1700 and without your financial support, we would have been in a dire situation trying to pay it. So, again, thank you!
Another exciting thing we have to announce is that we originally pulled the 3 brothers, alongside Woof Avenue, with plans to go back and get the two remaining siblings. Unfortunately, everyone got sick the day we picked them up. Then, the two we were planning to go back and get also broke with parvo so everything was placed on hold while everyone was treated. Sadly, the sister passed away but the remaining brother survived treatment and all 3 were reunited today 😍🥰
Doc and Wyatt, our two parvo puppies, are still hanging in there. It has been a week of ups and downs, but they’re still showing us they want to fight. Two nights ago, we almost lost Doc but he has perked back up and we are feeling much better about how he’s feeling. 🤞🏼 Wyatt has remained stable all week, and we pray he doesn’t experience any of the same peaks and valleys that Doc has.
On behalf of Woof Avenue and FLCAC, thank you to everyone who has donated so far. Parvo is SO emotionally and financially draining, so to have your support means everything!
We had a busy day today that would not have happened without volunteer drivers and rescue partners!
Two adult dogs and 3 puppies are off to better lives as of this afternoon. The two huskies went straight to a rescue partner where they were immediately spoiled with a pupuccino! The three puppies are headed to a foster home where they will hang out for the week until they can leave for Pennsylvania on Friday.
Thank you Natalie, Mimi, Tiffany, and Susan for making this happen!! 🐾🐶 5 dogs are much happier today because of you guys!!

Welcome to FLCAC!! These guys will only be with us for a night before heading off to Tennessee tomorrow. It’s a multi-group effort, but we’re getting it done!

Phoebe and her catnip
This is Miss Phoebe. She was pulled from county animal control where she was brought as a kitten this past summer. She was transferred to another clinic in town to try and find her a home, and she developed a stress condition called interstitial cystitis in her urinary bladder. She had lived in a cage most of her life and was a stressed kitty! Once treated, started on a new diet and then brought into a foster home, she has become a happy kitty once again! Phoebe is looking for a home! She is spayed, leukemia/FIV negative, and up to date on vaccines! She gets along well with dogs and other cats. Please contact Kelley at [email protected] if interested in her or if you have any questions! And please share!
