NEON CAT (North Eastern Ontario Neuter - Cat Advocacy Team)

Our mission is to:
- help with TNR of barn/colony cats in the North Eastern Ontario area, namely the Iroquois Falls, Black-River-Matheson and Cochrane areas;
- help with rehabilitating/relocating unreturned barn/colony cats
- partner with local rescue groups to transfer friendly barn/colony cats or kittens for adoption;
- help people in the community by facilitating access to low-cost spay/neuter clinics.

We are so excited to be planning our next fundraiser! We are gearing up for a week long online auction last week of August and we have some REALLLLY nice things gathered already. If you are a crafter, vendor, local business or just a crazy 😸 lady/guy and want to help us out, we will gratefully accept donations for our auction. Just shoot us a message.

Another male cat recently TNRd who was in bad shape and scared when trapped. He was badly matted with large areas of fur already missing, obvious signs of frostbite to ears, and injured leg. It became apparent that this lovely boy wasn't feral but just very scared. He was neutered and vaccinated, and returned to the person who had been feeding him for over a year but as a member of her family! Best outcome for this boy!
