On the bridge where colors blend and sway,
A man and his dog walk one last day.
The rainbow arches, vibrant and bright,
Yet casts a shadow in the fading light.

His faithful friend, with fur so fine,
Walks beside him, calm and kind.
But the man’s eyes, they cloud with tears,
As he whispers soft goodbyes through the years.

The bridge seems endless, but time is short,
In this final, bittersweet transport.
Each step a memory, each breath a sigh,
As they tread the path where goodbyes lie.

The hues above may shimmer and gleam,
But below, his heart feels the cold stream.
For every rainbow fades from view,
When you must say farewell to someone true.

The dog looks up with gentle eyes,
Unaware of the man's silent cries.
They walk together, ‘neath a sky so wide,
As he says goodbye, with aching pride.

The bridge stretches on, a fading line,
Where love and sorrow intertwine.
And as they part with a final stride,
The man and his dog are eternally side by side.

This is a picture of my brother Bob. ( don't tell him, but he was adopted ) I like that ever since my mommy put a window seat up, my brother Bob comes and spends the day with me. I try sometimes to show him my toys and play but mommy and daddy say he doesn't play the same way I do. I thought everybody played tug or war? Cats are weird. LOL.

I turned 6 years old today. I got a hamburger for my dinner. Mommy said my present will be here Thursday. I've been a good girl. :)

Hope everybody had a good St Parick's Day and didn't forget to wear green, so they didn't get pinched. Mommy says Easter is coming soon. I can't say I like that holiday. #1. I can't have chocolate. #2. If the big thing is Easter eggs, then why is it a bunny and not a chicken that brings the baskets?

My sister, before she lost her eyes from an infection while she was on the streets. Then, after she was found, and surgery was done. And finally, when my mommy and daddy adopted her, and she became a part of our pack.
