👉 I WOULD LOVE TO DO WHAT YOU DO! 🤔

This is one of the many things I hear at least 10 times a week..... I often laugh at this statement, and always advise people, please think long and hard, as Animal Rescue is a Lifestyle...

Many rescues start with the best intentions in the world, but you need to think about the money, time, effort and energy it will take. So many people look at our page and think it is just so easy, save a few animals, get donations .... easy!

You are only seeing a FRACTION of what rescue involves, don't get me wrong it can be very rewarding, but it can also be draining. You will get abuse on a daily basis, you will be called a liar, a thief a con artist, and you have to learn to shrug everything off.

People dont care that you have been up since before it is light, or that you have spent the day trying to deal with paperwork, problems, and animal abuse. They dont care that you are exhausted, and worried about how you will carry on saving the huge numbers that need you to help.

If you want to rescue then great, but please make sure you do it in the right way. Take on what you can cope with mentally, physically and financially.

There is no quick fix.... it takes time and effort!

⛔️ STOP taking the easy way out and giving up on your dogs just because they don't conform immediately, everything takes time and commitment you need to learn together.

If you don't know how to help ypur dog seek advice, ask the people who DO know and who can help. Don't listen to bad trainers/behaviourists/groomers that have bad advise and outdated training methods.

➡️ Most problems are easily fixable and usually the problem is the person not the dog. Look and listen for the signs, don't wait, act. Dogs are NOT commodities to be discarded when things don't go as planned and many are very easily trained you just need to know how.

If you adopt from us then PLEASE listen to the advice you are given, it's given for a reason, we know our dogs and want the best for them. I have entrusted you with my dog in the hope they will become a much loved respected family member.

It takes two to make a partnership work, and you will reap the rewards if you only give them the time they deserve, work with them and yourself with the correct help and advice it's simple.
