We feel these great dogs of ours are living in urban spaces without much visceral contact with the muddy, vegetal worlds from which their ancestors came.

We love to bring them to the ocean. We love to feed them berries and fish. And we love to bring them the highest quality bones from farms where high-integrity practices are decades old, and the quality of the soil is unparalleled.

When you give your dog one of our bones, you’re not just giving them vital nutrients. You’re connecting them to a wilder past that lives inside of them. We also love that bones are biproducts of human food chains. It makes perfect sense to gift them to our special angels.

Foxy is adorable here with our Big Ol’ Bone, 16-20’’ long, weighing 5-6 pounds — making it the biggest bone available on the internet. She can chew on this bit by bit for many months as her mom makes sure she does just small chew sessions at a time.

Urban dogs definitely receive benefits from living in cities: excellent veterinary care, an exciting mix of dogs and people to interact with regularly, in general really nice bedsheets, and easier access to quality foods and supplements that help them live long lives

When we started to examine where typical dog bones were coming from, we were shocked by the details. Factory farms, outside the country, no mention of quality, and no ability to track quality.

We feel good about serving these bones to the community because we know exactly where they come from, how the cows and sheep are treated in the process, and what the conditions are. This quality of meat and bone would be appropriate for (another fan of ours is there 🫡). And that is simply not the case for 99% of dog bones you’ll find.

Dog bones should be a treat, quarterly or monthly max. They have dental benefits if they’re not overused, but too often can create issues. Each bone of ours is special and unique. Tito is a 12 year old LA based poodle chihuahua, and with the lamb bone he’s really saying, I love good food. I love a good ambiance. I lean keto. You know, I’m really well cared for, with the paper under the bone, it’s like, my mom takes really good care of the house. It’s everything a potential mate could ever want.

Seriously great time — we will be back next year. If you met us yesterday, please say hi with a DM! Thanks to everyone who took bones home. So exciting. Everything lined up super well. We trust those dogs are noshing down happily all week and would love to see videos or photos.

If you are a dog owner and don’t know Farmer’s Fetch yet, hi 👋 we are a new small business selling the best dog bones we’ve ever found ourselves for our own dogs. We source them from a farm in Oregon and hand-select them from our home to go out to dog lovers across the country.

We recommend our lamb bones for small dogs, and our half or full beef bones for large dogs. Medium dogs, check our website for weight recommendations and you might be the right size to do both. 🏆

What we’ve found in our own path is that a lot of the bones on the market are coming from outside the country. And they’re mostly all coming from factory farms (well documented as places where accidental as well as intentional violence towards animals occurs and unsafe, unkind environments toward animals are status quo.)

If you have any questions at all about our bones or have a pet store, DM us. Our Big Ol’ Bones are quickly gathering a cult following across the country. Excellent for big dogs and aggressive chewers, they’re 16 to 20 inches long guaranteed, made of super fresh, grass-fed beef, packed with marrow. These will last your dog several months if you give it to your dog sparingly (which we highly recommend— they are rich but conveniently don’t stain fabrics; we still recommend putting an easily washable blanket down to collect bits that fall off, but your dog will get the majority of those.)
