🚨 URGENT FOSTER HOME NEEDED IN TUNIS! 🚨
It's been almost a month since our last update about this little family, and they are still in the vet clinic in Tunis. Sadly, no one has come forward to foster them, and now the situation is truly desperate! The vets have informed us that they can no longer stay in the clinic, as they need the space for emergencies – and they are right, there are so many in Tunisia every day. 😢💔
This is our last desperate plea for help, hoping for a miracle, so they won't have to return to the streets, after everything we've done for them. Unfortunately, all local rescuers and shelters are beyond their capacity. 😰

In case you missed their story: At the beginning of June, we received an urgent call about a street cat in Tunisia going through a life-threatening ordeal. The cat was struggling to give birth in a carton box hidden in some bushes by the side of the road. Tragically, one of her kittens was stuck inside her, blocking the birth process. Thankfully, a local rescuer understood the situation and rushed her to the vet.
The brave cat and three of her kittens (all males) survived. 🐱✨

Nayla in her forever home
What better way to kick off the weekend than with some heartwarming news? 🌟 Little Nayla has safely arrived in her forever home in the Netherlands, and she is doing great! 🏡🇳🇱
Nayla's journey has been nothing short of miraculous. Rescued in Tunisia with severe injuries, she had to have her right back leg and tail amputated, and her other back leg was broken. She fought bravely for weeks, teetering between life and death, but she is a true warrior and she made it! 💪❤️
Now, Nayla is surrounded by love in her new home with the wonderful Laura, who has already adopted two other cats from us. We are beyond grateful to Laura for opening her heart and home to Nayla too! 🐾💕
A big thank you also to Najwa, Nayla's rescuer and foster mom in Tunisia, who saved her life and provided her with months of loving care. Also, a big shoutout to Amen, her dedicated vet, to Bianca, her flight buddy, and to all the kind souls who supported Nayla along the way. 🚨 Help a Brave Momma Cat and Her Kittens 🚨
A couple of days ago, we received an urgent call for help about a street cat in Tunisia going through a life-threatening ordeal. The cat was struggling to give birth in a carton box hidden in some bushes by the side of the road. Tragically, one of her kittens was stuck inside her, blocking the birth process. Thankfully, a local rescuer understood the situation and rushed her to the vet.
Despite the vet's best efforts, the stuck kitten could not be saved 😢. However, the brave cat and three of her kittens survived 🐾. The ordeal left her weak and in need of urgent medical care. She lost a significant amount of blood and has been recovering at the vet clinic, where she and her kittens are receiving the care they need. We are happy to report that she is now much better! 🌟🥰

🐾 NEMO UPDATE 🐾
It's been a month since our last update about brave little Nemo, and we have good news! 🌟
Our boy has completed his antibiotic treatment. His wounds and the scars from his surgeries have healed beautifully! He's been vaccinated, neutered, and is finally ready to step out of the vet clinic and into a loving home, or foster home. Which brings us to the only piece of bad news: despite our best efforts, we haven't been able yet to find a safe place for him in Tunisia. Which means that our sweet Nemo must remain in the clinic for now, a place he no longer needs to be. This also means additional costs, so we continue to welcome any donations for this little warrior. ❤️
For those of you who missed his story, Nemo's tale is one of both heartbreak and hope. He was rescued in Tunisia, severely injured, with one back leg and tail shattered and severely infected. He was probably hit by a car and left to die... Thankfully, a local rescuer found him just in time and rushed him to the vet where, sadly, his leg and tail had to be amputated. To add to his trials, Nemo is also blind in one eye due to an older injury. Five days after his surgery, he is recovering really well, he is gaining weight and more mobility in his back legs. And he is just getting cuter and cuter, don't you think? 🥰

Kitten post surgery
We are so happy, the little one survived the surgery! 🥳
He is awake and recovering now. 🥰
The vets found several broken ribs, that had perforated the pleural cavity in 3 places, but luckily the lungs were intact. Some of the ribs could be put back into place, so they can heal properly, but a couple remained a bit shorter.
It was a difficult surgery and now we hope that the little one will recover without complications and will be able to live a normal life. Next days and weeks will be critical, please keep him in your thoughts. 🙏

Injured Kitten
🚨We have just received a call for help from one of the rescuers in Tunisia🚨
This poor kitten was rescued badly injured, barely breathing. Most likely he was hit by a car or fell from somewhere. The Xrays show a few broken ribs and damage to the chest cavity. He also has very weak back legs, probably due to a nerve damage.
Tomorrow he will have emergency surgery. The prognosis is very reserved, as he is very tiny and already weak.
We hope so much that she'll make it! We will update you as soon as we have news.
The estimate for his surgery and post-operative is of about 300€. Any help, no matter how small, with his vet bills, is greatly appreciated!

Yuki says hi from the shelter in Tunisia! 🐶
We can't believe this gorgeous boy hasn't got any adoption requests... 😢
Yuki is a 1,5 years old GS/Husky mix. He was rescued when he was a puppy and he was adopted shortly after. Unfortunately, his family were inexperienced and did not have enough time for him and finally brought him to a shelter. 💔 After 9 months of being in a home, even if not the right home, Yuki was truly heartbroken and he reacted very badly at first. Now, after a few months, he accepted his fate and he settled in. But this is not the life he deserves. Yuki is truly a family dog and as soon as we heard about his story, we decided to help him!
Yuki loves people and is very bonded with his family. He is suspicious at first about people he does not know, but with a few treats and cuddles, it is easy to win him over.
Yuki is a young, high energy dog and he needs an active and experienced person / family who can give him enough exercise, continue his training and help him overcome his trauma. For him would be perfect someone who already has some experience with GS/Husky dogs and understands their personality and specific needs. Yuki also gets along great with other dogs.
Yuki is currently in Tunisia and he is ready to travel as soon as he finds a home, or a foster home.

Happy news: Percy arrived today in his foster home in Germany and he's doing great! 🥳🐾
Percy was rescued in Romania, he was found paralyzed with fear in the middle of a busy highway. Luckily a local volunteer was driving by and she managed to stop the traffic and rescue him.
Like many white cats, Percy is deaf, but he lives a completely normal life! He is incredibly affectionate, playful and simply adorable! 🥰 We are so happy that now he has the chance to a happy life!

Jago is a very special senior boy who is ready to spend his golden years pampered and loved, after a life of suffering and neglect.
Jago was found wandering the streets of a small village in the south of Italy, confused and emaciated, full of scars and wounds. A local rescuer decided to help him, but unfortunately she could not take him home, as she has too many already. Jago is now in a shelter, where he is safe and fed, but this is not the life he deserves.
We have a really big soft spot for seniors and one look at Jago’s sad, pleading eyes was enough to make us decide to help him.
Jago is a calm and gentle grandpa. He is a bit shy at first but gains confidence fast. He also gets along with the other dogs in the shelter. He is not tested with cats.
Jago does not need much. Just a warm bed, some easy walks and someone to give him lots of love and cuddles.For him we are looking for a quiet home, in a rural or semi-rural setting. A present and preferably experienced person / family, willing to give him all the time he needs to adjust.
Jago is around 10 years old. He weighs about 30kg. He his neutered and he has all his vaccinations and he is also tested negative for leishmania and ehrlichia.
No senior dog deserves to live in a shelter. They have so much to give, they will reward you with endless love and devotion. Please help Jago find his forever home where to spend his golden years happy and loved.

Milo
We can't believe that this cute little guy hasn't found a home yet! 😢
He is so sweet and he loves attention!
Milo gets along well with other dogs too, but clearly prefers to be the center of attention, which is why we think he'd love to be an only dog.
Milo is also very intelligent and a bit stubborn too. 🙃 He needs an experienced adopter, someone who can understand and appreciate him and who will enjoy continuing his training. We promise you he's worth it! Having a great dog like Milo in your life is a lot of joy and fun!
Milo is about 3 years old, a medium size (about 12 kg, shoulder height 37 cm). He is vaccinated, neutered, chipped and tested negative for dog disease.
He is in Croatia and he can travel as soon as he finds his forever home, or a foster home.
