When the weather outside is frightful, you stay in cosy with your friends ❤️🫶🏻❤️
Neville was a little under the weather so I took him home for some TLC.
He's feeling much better now and was very happy to be back home yesterday ❤️
Clever Pumba knows exactly when it's dinner time and gets a little impatient waiting...🤣❤️🐷

We get the most amazing rainbows ❤️🌈
Who needs a "boop" today? 🥰🥰
Just Buddy and Pumba having a chat 🥰🥰
Want to do something super rewarding...give something back.....push yourself.... get fit?
Want to be chased by a turkey who then steals your glove?....Outwit goats to get food past them?....Get your wellies stuck in the mud?....Collect a barrow of poop and have it pushed over by a cow....?!
Volunteering at the sanctuary can offer you all of that and more! ❤️
We are looking for some new volunteers to help us care for the animals. We have a couple of shifts on our rota needing committed, regular volunteers. Please note it’s hard work! You WILL get muddy and pooey (chicken mainly) and wet, but be rewarded with so much love from all the rescued animals that live there.
We need help for the morning and afternoon shifts on weekdays.
Times are 8.30am until 12pm and 1pm until 4.30pm (this will gradually change from spring to a start time of 5/6pm until 9/10pm).
If you are over 18 and can commit to at least 1 shift a week, really really love animals, and don’t mind hard work and getting your hands dirty, please send us a message telling us a bit about yourself and your experience 🙂🙂
Please only get in touch if you are definitely interested. Our volunteers manage all the messages and it takes lots of time to arrange inductions and training 🙏
We are based in Hoylake.
Thank you everyone 💕
And...that....is...it!! We are now SOLD OUT of our 2024 calendars 🥳
Thank you all SO much for buying a calendar. As we fundraised the printing and postage costs, every single penny goes back directly to our animals ❤️
And we love the fact that over 250 homes and businesses will have our babies on their walls all year round. We hope you love them as much as we do.
Any ordered in the last few days will be posted ASAP 🙏❤️
Thank you again ❤️
Thanks to each and every one of our followers 🥳 Every like, share and comment helps our audience grow ❤️
And it's amazing to be able to tell our animals stories to you all ❤️
Gordon is such a flirt...check out his little "rooster dance". He loves the ladies 🥰❤️
What a way to start a frosty morning ❤️🐮❤️
Sound on to hear Emily purring 🥰🥰
Vivian 💞
Breakfast for Vivian 💞💞
The two poorly girls, Cassie and Vivian, are doing better, and eating for Britain. They’re very malnourished, every bone is sticking out. They are sleeping inside with blankets and heat pad as they’re too bald to cope with the temperatures outside.
Chickens (as are all animals) are starved of food and water for days before slaughter, to keep the process cleaner eg keep slaughter trucks clean and at the disembowelment area on the slaughter line.
All of these 11 girls haven’t had enough food for a long time though, they are literally all skin bone and a few sparse feathers. they’ve certainly not come from a loving caring place, like the adverts would have you believe😮💨

Breakfast with friends, part 2 💖
The perfect start to a morning 💚🐮🐷🌤🌄

Happy doggychops at the seaside ❤️
Barry being calmed by Tayla with some soothing music 💖💖
Some of our animals are absolutely petrified of all of these bangs, some are so bad they’ve needed to be medicated. 😪
Big big thank you to all our volunteers who have stayed late into the night with them the last few nights.
Beans, Bonnie, Jake, Kimmy and Freddie are also terrified, beans is shaking cuddled up next to me, poor little mite. The cats are upset too and the ducks are stressing.
The physiologic damage these awful bangs cause to humans who have been in war zones and have PTSD and animals is massive and needs to stop. I always think of the poor wildlife too.
Humans are such an utterly selfish species 😠
Morning stretches with Elliot ❤️❤️
Buddy and Phoebe are in a temporary paddock while we move in their new house 🏡 The nosey cows obviously came over to see who their new neighbours were ☺️
We are so excited to see them in their new cosy bed...check back later to see how they react 🙏❤️🏡
Happy #WorldVeganDay 2023 💚🌎💚
Held every 1st of November, World Vegan Day is an opportunity for vegans across the globe to celebrate veganism and all its positive impact.
Being vegan is a way of living which seeks to exclude—as far as is possible and practicable—all forms of exploitation of, and cruelty to, all animals. It means excluding animals from our diets and lifestyle, including clothing and entertainment 💚
Everyone in this video would have died had they not been rescued from the meat, dairy and egg industry. That breaks our hearts. But it also breaks our hearts for the many more we can't save.
Please go vegan for them 🙏💚
Kimmy is so happy it’s Saturyay😊
Kimmy is soooo happy it’s a Saturday 😂
