Keep your pets safe this holiday season with these six tips. 🐈🐕❄️
1. Avoid Hazardous Foods - Keep chocolate, alcohol, grapes, raisins, and other holiday treats out of reach. Limit table scraps and stick to pet-friendly treats.
2. Secure Decorations - Use pet-safe ornaments and secure trees to prevent tipping. Avoid tinsel, which can be harmful if swallowed. Hide electrical cords and never leave lit candles unattended around curious pets.
3. Mindful with Plants - Keep poinsettias, holly, and mistletoe away from pets—they’re toxic.
4. Provide a Safe Space - With guests and noise, ensure pets have a quiet area to retreat and relax. Keep pets indoors during New Year's Eve fireworks or other loud events.
5. Secure Fencing and Gates - To prevent accidental escapes, check doors, fences, and gates to be sure they are secure.
6. ID is Key - Make sure your pet is wearing an ID tag and their microchip registration is up to date.

🎃 Halloween is right around the corner! Here are some tips to keep your pet safe:

1. ID and Microchipping: Ensure your pet has a collar with an ID tag and a microchip with up-to-date info.
2. Watch the Door: When handing out candy, be mindful that your pet doesn't dart out the door.
3. Secure the Candy: Keep those treats out of your pet's reach. Chocolate, xylitol, and other candy ingredients can be toxic.
4. Decorations Awareness: Keep decorations, candles, and jack-o'-lanterns out of your pet's reach.
5. Costume Consideration: If you plan to dress up your pet, make sure the costume is comfortable, doesn't restrict their movement, and doesn't have small parts they could chew on or swallow.

Across from George E Jack Elementary School right on Rt 35. Near the intersection of Rt 35 & Ossipee Trail..

His name is Pip and is a Domestic Long Hair / Maine C**n. He has been missing since 10/15/2024. No collar. Neutered, lump on side of face (only noticeable if you pet him), white hair on belly, mostly black hair on his back & sides. He is probably going to be scared of strangers. He has been an indoor-outdoor cat for 10 years so he knows how to hide. Be on the lookout for this cat and report any sightings.

Her name is Kali and is a Calico. She has been missing since 8/7/2024. No collar. All white on her belly and paws and orange on legs. Kali won't go to anyone other than me or my mom. Fort Knox Ave, in Capehart.

DO NOT CHASE. Her name is Freyja. She has been missing since 8/12/2024. Pink checkered collar and pink harness and pink leash. Black heart shaped spot by eye, black spotted ears. Very much loved puppy, ran from home with her leash. She is a sweet cuddly baby. Be on the lookout for this pup and report any sightings.
