We do adopt in Canada and have fosters in Canada as well. We have rescued all sorts of breeds over the years.

We rescue, provide vetting and get hairless breeds and their coated counterparts as well ready for their forever home, as all the other hairless breeds and small breed dogs in the US. Our goal has evolved to help all hairless breeds and other small breed dogs (naked or not) in need of finding new homes. Our volunteers all have several years of experience in dog rescue as well as other animal relat

ed fields. We have helped dogs ranging from owner surrenders all the way to the most horrible of puppymill survivors. Including Chinese Cresteds, American Hairless Terrires, Xolo (Mexican Hairless), Peruvian Inca Orchids (PIO), Khala, Italian Greyhounds, Boston Terriers, Chihauhau, Poodles, Shih Tzu's, Yorkies, Affenpinscher and the list goes on. We are currently in need of volunteers and foster homes! We are turning away dogs in need due to all of our foster homes being filled. Hello Friends,
This is a bit different than we normally do but it hits kinda home.
A former team member from Canada Linda Guay married a gentleman here in the U.S. named John Falk. Linda passed away 4 years ago from MS but we kept in touch with John now and again.
2 Months ago John was in a horrific accident where he almost lost his life but has sustained some horrible injuries. He blew a tire in the expressway and lost total control of his car. He spent a month in the hospital and is currently in rehab so he can get to a point he can go home.
He has always been very active in rescue himself, basset hounds but dogs non the less. Nice guy. John is on a minimal income. During this entire time he has had to have his 2 dogs in kennel care. He has a huge bill at this point.
Marci Thomas from Basset Rescue is asking for help with the charges for John. The bill has reached about $5000.00 at this point.
