We do adopt in Canada and have fosters in Canada as well. We have rescued all sorts of breeds over the years.

We rescue, provide vetting and get hairless breeds and their coated counterparts as well ready for their forever home, as all the other hairless breeds and small breed dogs in the US. Our goal has evolved to help all hairless breeds and other small breed dogs (naked or not) in need of finding new homes. Our volunteers all have several years of experience in dog rescue as well as other animal relat

ed fields. We have helped dogs ranging from owner surrenders all the way to the most horrible of puppymill survivors. Including Chinese Cresteds, American Hairless Terrires, Xolo (Mexican Hairless), Peruvian Inca Orchids (PIO), Khala, Italian Greyhounds, Boston Terriers, Chihauhau, Poodles, Shih Tzu's, Yorkies, Affenpinscher and the list goes on. We are currently in need of volunteers and foster homes! We are turning away dogs in need due to all of our foster homes being filled. ♡♡♡ADOPTED♡♡♡

My name is Yanni - not the famous composer - but the smartest, handsomest, most brilliant dog ever! (At least in my opinion). I am a young Xolo with puppy energy to spare. Zoomies are just about my favorite thing, so I would love a yard to show off my skills. I’m working on my manners and can sit, down, wait (even for food), and go into my kennel when told. I also ride nicely in the car. I’m pretty treat motivated and will do just about anything for peanut butter! Yum! I love, love, love to play, but I don’t realize how strong I am, so I would probably not be a good fit for small children, small dogs, or cats. I have a very high prey drive and am guaranteed to keep your yard free of squirrels and other small critters. True of the Xolo breed, I can be willful, so my perfect person would need to be “in charge” so I don’t try to take advantage of – well – everything! I have dry eye and will need daily eye drops, but otherwise I'm super healthy. I’m really looking forward to my forever home and living the perfect life with my perfect person or family.

Please meet Suzy! Suzy is a feisty little senior girl, who has finished treatment for heartworm. She is now ready for adoption. Suzy is about 11 lbs, spayed, up to date on vaccines, she has completed her heartworm treatment. Suzy has developed cataracts and is going blind. We believe she has limited sight. She enjoys a lap and snuggling with other pups. Please let me know what questions you may have about Suzy or apply to adopt if you have the perfect retirement home for Suzy.

Meet Percy! Yes, he is a long haired Xolo, while he isn't hairless and has longer hair than the typical coated Xolo, let me assure you, he has ALL the traits of a Xolo! He is 10 years old and came to us with his sister Audrey, both are looking for their forever home. Percy is up to date on vaccines, neutered, housebroken and unfortunately has been debarked. He is crate trained, but you will need an extra clip as he opens crates to let himself out! Percy is a very smart companion that loves sleeping in bed and will make someone an awesome companion!

Sweet Miss Coya is waiting on her perfect home as well. She's a 1 ½yr old coated PIO. 44lbs. Knows her basic commands and has a high prey drive but is good with dogs and cats. She can be a little outspoken and will require a yard so she can run and burn off some energy.
