My goodness, it's been ages since I last posted! Where does the time go? It's nearly Christmas again already and I have been living here with my family for nearly two years.
A few months ago mum said she had a surprise for me, and that I would enjoy it, BUT I would have to have a bath first 😢 because I needed to look my very best. So after a bath and a nail trim we went to Diamond Dogs Fine Art Pet Photography and two nice ladies called Anne and Sally took lots of pictures of me. It was fun and I got to pose on a leather chair and in a suitcase, among other things. Then a couple of weeks later mum and dad had to choose their favourite pictures to bring home.
Last week I had to go to the vets because I was very itchy and kept scratching my ears all the time, they were sore and mum said my scratching was driving her up the wall (I'm not sure why as she wasn't the one who was itchy) I was also a bit deaf in one ear and I couldn't hear mum calling me for dinner! 😭 anyway the lady vet looked in my ears and said I needed some medicine for my skin. She cleaned my ears out a bit and I had to have special tablets twice a day, which means an extra treat, yay! And another bath, boo!
She also said I was getting a bit chubby, I mean what a cheek! I am NOT chubby, just beautifully curvaceous. But unfortunately mum has listened to her and although I am literally STARVING TO DEATH here, she has cut my food down! She said I can have special treats on Christmas day but after that it's back to starvation rations 😢
I'm looking forward to Christmas, I have got presents for everyone and I hope I get lots of presents too, especially food ones.
If anyone is out there reading this, please send food parcels. 🆘

The other day mum's friend phoned her up in a bit of a panic because her little boy had got a tick on him and she didn't know how to get it off. Now I've had ticks a few times and they are nasty bitey things, but mum has a special tick removing thingy and she always gets them straight off me.
So anyway mum said to her friend to bring the little boy round and she would get it off. When she saw it, it was teeny weeny and she couldn't even get her special tick tool on there so she had to pull it off with tweezers and then she squished it so it couldn't bite anyone else.
The little boy was a bit scared of dogs but his mum said to him "say hello to Princess" so he stroked me and gave me a treat. I was extra careful not to sn**ch so I didn't scare him, I didn't jump up or anything and mum said I was a very good girl.
Anyway, yesterday me and mum were out in the garden and mum got a Snapchat from her friend and the little boy and he said he had a ball for me to play with. So today he came round after school with his mum and he brought me two tennis balls and some chocolate for mum.
I played with the balls in the garden with mum and the little boy for a while and then I showed him some of my tricks. I don't think he's scared of me any more 😊 mum took one of the tennis balls away but she let me keep one, but I chewed it up oops 😂
I'm glad I could help someone not be scared of dogs anymore.

Yesterday mum gave me a brush and filed my nails and said "Tomorrow we are going somewhere special". When she woke me up this morning we went for a walk over the park, there was nobody else around but someone had left a ⚽ there so mum threw it for me a few times, but she wouldn't let me pop it because she said it wasn't mine.
Then when we got back I had some breakfast and she put my best collar on from Petiquette Collars which I am only allowed to wear on special days.
After that I got in the car with mum and dad and we drove to a place called the Dog Barn.
It turned out that me and mum were doing a level 1 trial with Scentwork UK which is what we have been practicing when we go to the classes with auntie Nic.
There were lots of other dogs there which worried me a little bit, but mum said I could stay in the car when it wasn't my go and she would keep me safe.
I had to do four different searches, the first one was on the outside of a car, it was easy peasy and I found it straight away. The second one was indoors and it was table and chairs and that was pretty easy too. Then we had a little break so I had a sniff round the car park and some water, and a quick rest in the car.
When I was doing the table and chairs search I did get a bit excited and ran round the room a bit and because dad was there I went to say hello to him.
So when we were ready for the third search which was outside again, dad said he would wait round the corner so I didn't get distracted. But then I got worried because I couldn't see him any more and I couldn't concentrate on the search because I was so worried 😢 so unfortunately I didn't find the scent and we didn't get any points.
So for the last search which was boxes and luggage, dad came in again. But I was really tired and still a bit upset, and I could tell mum was a bit stressed out too. I thought I knew where the scent was, but I wasn't quite sure so I didn't do a very good job of showing mum where it was, and we ran out of time.
You have to get three out of four scents to qualify for level 2 and I only got two, but mum said I had done a fab job considering it was my first go and I hadn't been to the dog barn before, and she gave me a big cuddle and lots of ham before we came home.
When we got back I was very tired and mum said she was tired too and had a headache, so I went upstairs with her and we had a little snooze 😴
So that was an exciting day. Mum said we will have another go next time there is a trial running and we will do lots of practice on boxes and luggage in the meantime.
I'm still rather tired so I'm going to have an early night.

I'm pleased to report that my dad is getting better, he still needs to have lots of snoozes which I'm very good at, so sometimes I keep him company.
I was in the dog house again last week because every time mum gets me a ⚽ to play with I get really excited and end up popping it, and she said she was fed up with the garden being littered with squashed balls. The last one she bought me only lasted ten seconds before it burst, I can't help it if they are not made properly, but mum was a bit annoyed ☹️
I have a hard ball but because I can't get a grip on it I soon get annoyed and start barking at it! So mum doesn't let me have it very often. But yesterday she said she had a present for me and now I have got a Jolly Horse Ball which is like a ⚽ but doesn't burst, and it has a handle so I can play tug with mum.
Today was a lazy day, mum sat in her garden chair reading her book, dad was indoors because he doesn't like the sun and I played with the new ball which so far I have not managed to pop, although it does have a lot of tooth marks 😬

For the last couple of weeks our house has been in a mess because mum and dad were getting some decorating done. Now I'm all for fresh decor, but really, my bed kept getting moved around, there was a polythene sheet on the sofa and mum kept telling me off when I tried to help and painted a door with my tail and put a white paw print on the floor :( it was all quite upsetting.
Anyway, yesterday it was finished apart from the carpet which is being done next week, so mum and dad spent the morning tidying up and then in the afternoon mum said she had a special treat for me and we were going out in the car. I hoped it didn't mean another shower at auntie Nics, but luckily it wasn't that. Instead we went to the Wild and Free Dog Meadows. It's a BIG field and there's lots of stuff to play with and space to run around, and I had a fabulous time!
I'm very tired after all the running around and playing so I will say goodnight and leave you with some pictures of me having fun.
