Riggins would like to remind everyone that during these frigid temps please make sure that you closely monitor how long your pets spend outside and be sure they have appropriate footwear (booties) and coats if necessary! Horses should receive extra hay to heat from the inside out, but blankets are not necessary unless they are older, ill or have a poor coat. Heated, clean water and appropriate shelter are paramount!
