LULU’S MISSION IS TO END THE DAILY KILLING OF THOUSANDS OF ADOPTABLE DOGS IN THE US BY COMBINING SPAY/NEUTER, RESCUE AND PUBLIC EDUCATION.
Lulu’s Rescue, founded in 2010, is an all-breed, inclusive dog rescue with 501c3 non-profit status. Our mission is to end the daily killing of thousands of adoptable dogs in the US and to break the cycle of homelessness through spay/neuter outreach, humane education, and rescue efforts. We, along with a dedicated group of volunteers and supporters, bring a vast range of experience and an unwaverin
g commitment to the promotion of compassionate care as an end to animal suffering. Our mission is to rescue healthy, loving animals that are on death row, in our community shelters, and give them a second chance at life. We are committed to finding the best homes, for these amazing creatures, ones in which they can flourish and live out their natural lives surrounded by loving care and kindness. Our policy is not first come first served but rather which family would be the best possible match for our furry friends in need. Animal behavior, is situational as proven by scientific research, and therefore sentient creatures may react differently to environmental factors. In an effort to set our adoptive families and their dogs up for success, we are transparent in relaying information about the dog's history while in our care, however we cannot predict or guarantee future behavior in your environment. We all believe very deeply in the words of Matthew Scully:
“animals are more than ever a test of our character, of mankind’s capacity for empathy and for decent, honorable conduct and faithful stewardship. we are called to treat them with kindness, not because they have rights, power or a claim to equality, but in a sense, because they don’t. they all stand unequal and powerless before us.”

Lulu’s Rescue, founded in 2010, is an all-breed, inclusive dog rescue with 501c3 non-profit status. Our mission is to end the daily killing of thousands of adoptable dogs in the US and to break the cycle of homelessness through spay/neuter outreach, humane education, and rescue efforts. We, along with a dedicated group of volunteers and supporters, bring a vast range of experience and an unwavering commitment to the promotion of compassionate care as an end to animal suffering.
