T & S (aka Teri Sage & Serena Tinio) have worked side by side for over 8 years and share a love for reviving and re-assembling special bits and pieces dug up from dusty attics, trunks, and flea markets to create ornate and richly textured wearable works of art. I Love You was masterminded in 2008 after S returned from a long jaunt through South East Asia with 100 lbs of inspiration in her treasure
box—most notably the meticulously hand-stitched hats from the Hmong people of Laos. It was the combination of these Hmong spirit animal hats, a nostalgia for cloche fashions of the 20’s and 30’s, and a modern urban influence that sparked the concept for T.S.
