Hey y’all- sorry I’ve been MIA.
Lots of family stuff going on between chaos with my son and then our dearest Catsby suffered a vistibular event. At around 18 years old it’s not surprising and I was prepared for something to eventually happen.
However she’s pulling her daddy’s heartstrings in every way and proving to not be ready to give into any finalities just yet. So- we’re in hospice care and seeing how it goes with medications right now. She’s gained most of her balance back but can no longer jump, those days are gone. She’s finally eating more than just temptations treats 🙄 albeit I had to buy $100 in different canned foods to find what she wanted.

This came at a very bad time like most emergencies do. Our only car needed a ton of work in the shop, Conner’s medicine for his ADHD was no longer accepting our insurance so that went up all while he got suspended from school and Dan had to take off from work to deal with the last few days of him being home. Yet according to the school up to that point “he’s great!” - never listening to my concerns.

So needless to say it’s not ok here.

Heidi wants me to remind you to get photos of your 💕 Also to adult dogs & seniors bc they still have a lot of love! Heidi was adopted as a young adult and is now around 17 years old!!!! We joke all the time about her, but she’s spry for a toothless old bat ❤️ However, unfortunately we don’t have all the time in the world and procrastination usually ends in more tears. This is the south, mosquitoes here are a year round problem. Much like unprotected s*x, all it takes is one time, one bite and the pets infected.

Had to go outside to throw away trash. Haven’t been out except to Urgent Care in days. Saw this Anisota caterpillar making its way from one side of the driveway to the other.

❤️❤️❤️ Who have you seen in concert recently? Been listening to these guys since right out of high school 😂 Yep, we’re all old! Sometimes you don’t know how bad you needed something until you do it. So thankful for best friends and good times. This is your reminder to enjoy life and to not take every day so seriously💕

What’s in your dog’s bowl? I’ve been making dog food for decades, but Just Food For Dogs has made it easy with vet approved recipes and their nutrient packets. Great for pups meal or as a healthy, freshaddition to kibble.

Our Turkey friends that hang around the base of the mountain. Sprout was so zonked out from daycare he didn’t even notice😅

OMG! So we were cleaning out my husbands photos & videos on his phone & found the videos of when we went to visit Ripley at Clayton County Animal Control back in 2017 😭💕 My Roo Bear, I had no idea that day I was going to be going back the next morning for both her AND her sister, and that our foster would be leaving with said sister to my in-laws because Ripley chose me as her mom😂 That was NOT the original plan; As my MIL was looking for a bully mix since theirs was getting to the end of her lifespan. She saw a pic and wanted me to go check them out bc I was closer to see which was a better fit. I sent her the videos and she said I’ll just take both of them! Well, this one wasn’t too thrilled with them, her sister choose Dans dad, and our foster dog loves Dans brother - so that was just that. Life is funny though and we don’t choose the dogs, the dogs choose us. Ripley is my soul dog.

Very busy day here! Sessions tonight, still editing & getting everyone’s orders ready for the holidays!!!- but tomorrow November 14th 2021, I will be closed to check in on my mom who’s been admitted to the hospital and I’m hoping my son is feeling better because right now he’s acting pretty blah with a upset tummy. I’ll be checking emails and texts periodically but won’t be able to answer them as quickly as I normally do. Please be patient with me💕

The dogs are so happy to have a fenced yard again and I’m SO happy to not have to walk all of them on a leash to poop! No, we don’t have the land that we did in Fayetteville, but it’s plenty of room for them to get their energy out because honestly they are pretty lazy 😅

Hey everyone! Thanks for following Sarah Jane Photography!

My name is Sarah Jane and I’m a professional pet and lifestyle photography in the Metro Atlanta area! I’m different then your average digital photographer however, as I produce heirloom prints and art pieces with your sessions and not just digitals that will get lost in cyberspace.

I’ve been doing photography since 2008 but decided to go professional starting in 2016 and opened my business in March 2019. I chose my main focus on pet portraits because I have worked with pets for 20 years and bring with me all that training that other photographers simply don’t have pertaining to pets. It’s like going to a regular doctor who will then defer you to a specialist! My passion is working with animals, it’s who I am....but that doesn’t mean I don’t enjoy photographing everyone and everything else!

I also offer family, couple, children, senior, and events. I’m a member of PPA (Professional Photographers Association), am licensed and insured.
