After battling on for a while and pushing my advancing years to the limit in true Staffy style, this morning I looked at mum and told her it was time for me to go.

Mum and Dad took me to a lovely lady called Steph at the out of hours vets, and together they helped me head off to the Rainbow Bridge; Mum held my paw and talked to me as I fell asleep; it was very peaceful and I knew I was loved.

Thanks to everyone for sharing my adventures, it's been a fun filled 14 years. See you all at the Bridge one day. Love from Paddy x 🌈

I've been to see the vet tonight, as I've been feeling quite poorly. I have laryngeal paralysis. There's no treatment for this due to my age (I'm too old for the stress of an operation) BUT .... I'm not in any pain, I have a very strong heart, I have a good appetite, and I'm still wagging (even if I do sound like an asthmatic goose most of the time!!)

This is my new favourite sleeping position as its helping me breath more easily....
