Little Poppy's first group walk with the grown ups!

It's important that puppies learn to just 'hang out' with other dogs, so today I matched her with three very well mannered, chilled out boys (Rolo, Bailey and Kylo) for a nice relaxed, sniffy walk.

I'm pleased to report she was a little superstar ✨️

Good to have some cooler weather for the dogs today so they could have a good run and burn off some of that pent up energy.

I can't take credit for today's photos - my daughter is helping out a couple of days a week over the Summer, until she starts college, so she was photographer today. I think she's done a great job.

The weather (or me checking it 😆) comes with the territory in this job. Luckily, it looks like we are not going to be experiencing the extreme temperatures seen down South, but it will still be quite warm.

I have an air conditioned van with fitted, vented crates and crate fans to keep your dogs extra cool while travelling 😎 and portable water bottles so that fresh water is available at all times. Walks will be adjusted, wherever needed, during the Summer months, to keep your dog safe and happy 😊

As a professional dog walking service, I always try to be as prepared as I possibly can. This means being Canine First Aid trained and carrying a (small) first aid kit with me (I have a larger one back at the van).

I updated my old one this week, which was looking a little tatty, with this one. It's small enough to carry with me, but has all the essentials I might need.

I've followed this lady for a while now and have also taken some of her CPD courses. She is a qualified Vet with a wealth of knowledge, which helps me continue my learning.

New boys, Woody and Gus were matched with Milly and Gizmo for the first time today. Milly was a little apprehensive at first, but soon realised the boys were super friendly and there was nothing to worry about. Happy dogs. Happy dog walker 🥰

Look at this gorgeous ickle puppy dog 😍😍😍

Poppy (the Border Terrier) joined walks at the beginning of April, but due to holidays and her first season she has actually only been able to get out with me twice. In that extra couple of months, she has come on in leaps and bounds and I felt confident letting her have a little time off lead today - she did soooo well!

Next mission - make new friends 💜

Some lovely walks today with the dogs. Benji joined us for the morning and enjoyed a walk with Lili, a mid morning walk with Colby, Woody and Gus and then a short walk with Winstan (not pictured). He's such a sweet lad and whoever he walks with, he's always everyone's friend.

When I got to Seaton for the lunch time walk, the heavens opened, so I decided to group the last two walks together, rope in a helper and try out a new walk a little bit further afield. Bailey, Hugo, Lincoln, Kylo and Bonnie had lots of fun exploring and as a bonus the sun shone 🥰

Today we welcomed this delightful duo - Dachshunds Woody and Gus (loving their names!) - who joined up with Waffle and Gizmo for a morning walk.

When a new dog joins us, it's really important that they are matched with the right dogs to ensure happy, harmonious groups. Pleased to say that the newbies were welcomed with open paws by the other long standing members of the gang 🥰

Woody and Gus will get to meet more new friends, later in the week 💜

Brian's been on crate rest after a recent operation. Brian's not best pleased about that 🫤

Today Brian was able to start short lead walks. He enjoyed the sniffs, but I can't wait to have him back out with us all again. I think Brian would agree!
