All animals that come in will be fully vet checked, flead and wormed, neutered and microchipped, also every animal will be fully assesed in a home environmen

All potential adopters will be asked to complete a pre adoption form in order to establish suitability, and a minimum adoption fee applies, We are not for profit and all adoption fees are a contribution towards the running costs of the rescue. We are solely run by volunteers so please be patient while waiting for a response. All our animals leave with full rescue back up and support for life, in the event that you cannot keep one of our animals, we will take them back to safeguard their future. We do not charge owners to relinquish animals but ask for a donation towards their care while they are with us, this is not mandatory, but we rely on the good will of animals lovers to be fair and contribute. Everything in rescue costs money except our time which we gladly give, food, transport, assessments, vet bills, as well as day to day running costs all add up and that is why we rely on adoption fees and donations to continue, we have no regular funding, and no paid staff.

Today it was our gorgeous little Joyce’s turn to be adopted ❤️

We carried out multiple homechecks for this little lady before deciding which was the best fit for her, and today her new family finally met her and fell in love straight away 💕

We don’t know Joyce’s history or how she ended up In the pound, but it was likely because her owner died as she has clearly been a much loved pet and was shell shocked to find herself in the kennels. She was so shut down when she arrived with us but we have slowly seen her little personality develop and what a wonderful little character she is.

She is going to be absolutely adored with her new family which is all we could ever ask for - be good little one, you have hit the jackpot with your new home for sure 👌

Today this poor girl joined us as an unclaimed stray from the pound - I think it’s pretty obvious why, she needs expensive eye surgery 😞

The pounds are full of Chow Chows, and not many rescues will take them because of their stubborn and sometimes challenging nature, so you have probably noticed, we take a lot of them, and for everyone we help, there are others being euthanised daily due to lack of space, we wasn’t going to allow this poor girl to be just another statistic of our throwaway nation.

She has cherry eye in both eyes and potentially upper and lower entropion, her poor face must be so sore 😢

We have called her Polar, and will be getting her all fixed up once she has had a chance to decompress in her foster home.

We got you sweetheart, don’t you worry 💕

Happy Friday from Figgy and her little gremlins 💕 Starting to play now and explore their surroundings, it’s a good job they are in a pen 🤣

Good news, our wonderful Figgy has stepped up and has gone from having 4 gorgeous puppies to 12 ❤️ She took to them very quickly, cleaning and feeding them and is just the most amazing mummy - this video actually made me cry 🥹 Thanks to Figgy and her foster mum, these poor little pups will have a chance at life, and hopefully will live to be happy healthy babies 💕 We will obviously be closely monitoring mum and babies and topping up their milk if she seems to be struggling with such a large litter, but so far so good, some very lucky little puppers - and we can all breathe a sigh of relief now ❤️‍🩹

Milo (yellow coat) learning to be a dog and enjoying running with the pack ❤️ Milo was born in kennels in China, he has never felt grass under his feet or had free space…and he is so happy, now we just need to find him a forever home that will love and cherish him forever 💕
