Check out Mavis and her pup, Sunny, enjoying some of the nice weather we've been having ☀️
Back in March, Mavis was taken into the U of S as she appeared quite lethargic and non responsive. Mavis had to have an emergency C-Section and only 2 out of her 6 puppies were able to be revived.
Now Mavis and her pups are doing better than ever! Sunny's sister, Stormy, is still being bottlefed in her foster home. These three aren't quite ready for adoption yet but make sure to keep an eye out for their official bios coming soon 🐾
#7 of our 12 Dogs of Christmas is Blake! This handsome guy was brought to us in November after living as a stray. He was a bit shy at first, but he comes out of his shell more & more everyday! Blake loves to make new friends with everyone (even cats) and would love a home with other animals to play with. 🐾
If you would like to give Blake the gift of a forever home this Christmas, apply to meet him today at www.saskatoondogrescue.com/adopt 🎅
We are pleased to once again present our 12 Dogs of Christmas promotion! Every weekday until Christmas Day, a new dog in our care will be featured. Last year, every single featured dog was adopted! Let's see if we can do the same this year 🤗
While Ruger is not quite available for adoption yet, we thought it was only fitting he was put at number one given the severity of his injuries. His story has touched so many of our hearts and demonstrates how resilient dogs can be. ❤
We were only able to take in Ruger because of your generous donations. Saskatoon Dog Rescue is a 100% volunteer run non profit organization which means all of your donations go towards the dogs in our care. Please consider giving the ultimate Christmas gift and donate today: www.saskatoondogrescue.com/donate 🎁
Jack is this weeks #FeatureFriday dog, and we can't think of a dog more deserving right now.
This sweet boy had a rough start with us. He was feral and terrified of human touch. Shortly after this, Jack was struck by a car resulting in fracturing his two legs and pelvis.
With love, time, and patience, Jack has transformed into a friendly and affectionate dog, who will do anything to be near his people! Jack is an example of how amazing and resilient dogs can be 💕
He has been up for adoption for over a month with very little interest. Let's share his story and help him find his forever family!
If you would like to meet Jack, apply today at www.saskatoondogrescue.com/adopt 💙
