When you hold out your hand ☺️ and your favourite boys are there to hold it back

The relationship you have with your horses is different to any relationship another person would have with them.
They love you unconditionally and never ask for much in return just to live a happy life and it's safe to say these boys get that (plus much more spoilt rotten)

Even on your bad days remember they have them too
When things don't go as expected you can always start again.
Slow steps are better than meeting that goal quickly.
Time and patience means bigger progression.

We have had a busy few days sorting the paddocks ready to graze
Removing the bramble bushes to checking the fencing.

Getting ready for the horse to move back up to the winter Fields

So we have been very busy over the past few weeks 😞

This year ragwart seems to be never ending for lots of paddocks. We have been removing the source from the root and disposing off it correctly by burning.

Remember ragwort seeds still spread once it's been pulled if left to die off the warm weather has helped it grow this year keeping us all on our toes

What better way to spend the warm morning then clipping and giving your pony a nice bath in the wash box

Looking super smart now with his feathers an tail all brushed out followed by mane plates to keep over to one side then back out in the paddock to relax

What a busy day we have had down the yard today

Today was dentist time all horses received their annual check up along with a 6 month check for one special boy.
All horses behaved exceptionally well and enjoyed time out in the paddock after relaxing 😌.

Nothing can beat the view between two happy ears
When the days are warm but the evenings are cooler for a lovely hack well the sun starts to set as you arrive back to the yard.
