What a busy day we have had down the yard today
Today was dentist time all horses received their annual check up along with a 6 month check for one special boy.
All horses behaved exceptionally well and enjoyed time out in the paddock after relaxing 😌.

Nothing can beat the view between two happy ears
When the days are warm but the evenings are cooler for a lovely hack well the sun starts to set as you arrive back to the yard.
Sometimes you just got to play find the shoe 🤦 farrier to the rescue and popped back on ready to work
Well it's 8:30pm most people are home on a Friday but due to the heat today we played it safe and have only just gone for a short ride.
Route of choice.....mmm to the milkshake shed Gorse Farm Goodies safe to say pony is snack happily well waiting for us

Today we had Keyflow Feeds representative Jess visit the yard to discuss some products.
A few horses currently enjoy these feeds 😉. It was very interesting to discuss what recommendations they have to offer for a few of our other residents.
Looking forward to trying the sample packets and having Jess on board to help with our feed supplies.
What a busy week we have had
Our local TopSpec representative has been out to check our horses weight and offer advice
With some new feeds to try on their dietary plans so far they are looking good 😊 easy to measure and the horses are enjoying the products. Can't wait to see how the horses improve with these products when we have our next visit.
Lovely evening ride now the days are longer we can finally enjoy the beautiful hacking we have available on our doorstep.

We you decide to take a fencing break as the weather is nice but the pony decides he needs to be close to you and soak up the sun 🌞 together 💖
Fencing is in progress to make sure everyone is safe the paddock grass is lovely tho k it's safe to say head will be down munching away

Yesterday we managed to have a moment with out our rugs on to soak up some vitamin d and mud before the rain came back to shock us.

Today is all about the hoof Fresh trims to help correct hoof element remove some chips created by the hard ground and dry weather we have been having. Remember it's always a good idea to apply a recommended hoof oil or moisturiser to help keep your horses hoofs in good condition.

When you know the storm is coming so the horses are definitely ready to come in. You know by the sound it won't be long before you are running for cover from the rain.
