UPDATE: OFFICALLY ADOPTED TODAY ♥️

He's been on a foster -to- adopt situation with a friend of the adopter, to get him out of the full shelter while a personal situation was attended to.

Well, tomorrow Grover is getting OFFICIALLY ADOPTED! The application has been sent. And it's sounds like the perfect fit, where they need eachother.

Super Trooper UPDATE:

Today, Trooper is at a specialized dentistry office near Sacramento for a CT scan and possible surgery on his jaw.

Trooper was the young pup that received blunt force trauma to the head which caused blindness in one eye as well as a broken jaw.

Crash Fund, Inc is the non-profit animal rescue that bravely stepped up to take him in. The costs for his care are anticipated to well exceed $5000.

When rescues answer the call to help from us, it's so important that we walk in the fight with them to help them, when the rubber meets the road on costs for that pup.

Her adopter said she is so so sweet. She slept right next to her in bed last night. She let her pick out her own treats ❤️

THE COURAGE TO SAY YES.

Tomorrow things are going to change for a young dog dubbed "Trooper"

Trooper was found by a local resident in a rural town (Corning, CA) with a rope tied around his neck and severe trauma to his face including a broken jaw and blindness in one eye. Yet, despite the profound pain he must feel, he just wants to kiss and love humans. He is only 12 weeks old.

The shelter, Tehama County Animal care center, took immediate action. They brought him to their local vet. Because of his need for a specialist for Troopers individual injury, they realized they needed to reach out to a rescue.

Crash Fund Inc became aware of his story through their rescue connections. Upon assessing his x-rays and his clinical summary from the Tehama County Vet, they decided that even though they had taken on an abundance of medical dogs lately with severe wounds, and money was tight... VERY TIGHT... that he deserved a chance to live.

Through COURAGE, they said yes to taking in Trooper and getting him the surgery and care he requires. And through that same courage, I hope we can all say yes to donations to his needs. Because without financial help... dogs like Trooper cannot be saved.

Trooper will be transported into Crash Fund Inc's care tomorrow, and Tuesday, he will be taken to their vet. The costs are likely to be in the many thousands. This is not an easy feat for a rescue to take on. In fact, when times are hard... I have no doubt it's downright scary for them. But if you look into Troopers eyes, the answer is clear. He deserves his chance at life.

For what its worth, I've worked with Crash Fund Inc on many, many occasions and I trust them with my whole heart. We've stood shoulder to shoulder together in the walk to help a great deal of hopeless, homeless dogs. They are a 501c3 non-profit animal rescue.

WILL ANYONE SAY YES TO THIS URGENT BOY

This is Sonic. He's a 2 year old Sharpei mix and he's desperately urgent in the overfull Tehama County Animal Care Center.

The reason he's urgent, is they have gotten so many dogs, every kennel is tripled up. There's simply no room.

Sonic loves life. He's joyous and playful. Happy and free. But he's lost in a sea of dogs right now and adoptions are at an all time low.

If you look into his eyes you can see his sweet soul. He just wants to be loved. He would love to run and play in your yard or even chill on the couch with you as you watch your favorite show. All he wants is a chance at life.

Sonic is good with other dogs he's met. It's unknown on cats.

Please consider Sonic for adoption. All rescues are full and it seems like that's his only chance right now.

What they need: canned dog food chunky or regular. They've put out multiple pleas with little response...

They have plenty of dry food. But many dogs will only eat canned because that's what they know from their previous homes. Plus, with medical needs dogs need a enticing bite to get their interest, at times.

SHELTER IS 🔴 -DESPERATE- 🔴 for SPACE!!!

Let's just say this, last year this time... puppies would often go to a rescue. This year the EXTREME ABUNDANCE of puppies and litters is OFF THE CHARTS. There's many many more puppies than even shown. Rescues aren't pulling much at all because they are all overfull.

With 4th of July coming it's always a worry that more dogs will come in because of the fireworks. And there just simply isn't room!

So, whether you've wanted to consider adopting a puppy OR maybe you can foster one for even a week, or until its adopted, even better! IT IS CRITICAL RIGHT NOW 🙏

PLEASE CONSIDER ADOPTING OR FOSTERING...and if you can't do that please spread the word!! These poor babies deserve better!

🔴 TONIGHT IS GOING TO BE SOO GREAT! 🔴

Tune in tonight to the LIVE video from 6pm to 9pm as Jordan's Way (who's traveled all 50 states to help shelters in need) is coming to Tehama County Animal Care Center!!

You will see fun activities where dogs gets lots of treats and love... and staff and volunteers act like kids again. The manager of the shelter might even get slimed (nickelodeon style). This will be game show style and so many fun and funny to watch events.

GREAT NEWS FOR MAVERICK!! A dog trainer (Marcus of Ruff House Unleashed in Klamath Falls) has agreed to do a months worth of training with Maverick at his training facility AT NO CHARGE!!! You could have blown us away like a feather! The Ruff House training group comes highly recommended by several residents here and Maverick desperately needs an expert to help him understand how to work with people. He loves people and is eager to learn, but is like a bull in a china shop around them as he has had no one to work with his manners as intensely as he needs here. So, this should be a GREAT experience for him!

EVEN BETTER, we have an adopter in Oregon that is eagerly awaiting Maverick's emergence from his "Boot Camp" experience. They have a female Great Pyrenees mix named Emmy of similar size and age that is aching for a play buddy! This should be a match made in Heaven!

So, we have taken Maverick off the "Eligible Bachelor's" list until he emerges from Boot Camp and has his blind date with Emmy. We will keep you posted on the outcome!

In the mean time, I would like to thank Hazel and Johnny Looper for fostering Maverick all these months. You two literally saved his life as he could never have kept his sanity in a boarding kennel (which was his only other option). Many people do not realize that going stir-crazy is a real thing for dogs. They cannot be confined in kennels endlessly. They need people and stimulation to keep their sanity and adaptability. I pulled him from the public shelter, but it was Hazel and Johnny that saved this dog! You two rock! -Jenn

NOW IN FOSTER ❤️ This is Diesel surrendered to city of Marysville (CA) shelter which doesn't house animals. He will be brought to the Yuba County shelter where he will be euthanized immediately.
