Welcome to Team MJK!

The MJK Equestrian Performance Team is a wide and varied community of equestrian riders of all ages and at different stages in their riding journeys, with a shared passion for the eventing disciplines. The team are a positive support network for each other, brought together and coached by Malcolm Kerridge and with the valued assistance of Marilyn Radford.

About the Coach:

Malcolm Kerridge started his equestrian interests in Pony Club in Queensland and went on to represent Queensland (over four years) and Australia in the field of eventing. Eventing sees equestrian competitors compete over two or three days in the disciplines of cross country riding (jumping different obstacles), dressage and show jumping. Malcolm was in the first Queensland pony club team to represent internationally, in New Zealand, having won the event in 1985. He was also shortlisted for the equestrian team for the Seoul Olympics in 1988, however was unsuccessful in making the team. Malcolm also spent four years working for Heath Ryan who is an internationally recognised equestrian and equestrian coach, having represented Australia at the 2008 Olympics.

Malcolm is a fully accredited equestrian coach and now has a passion for coaching children in the eventing disciplines and is seeking to enable the younger generation to reach their full potential. He aims to provide a unique and challenging coaching experience, ensuring good foundations and a strong work ethic.
