Ok enough about my medical issues we need to get Potter a home.....
Where are my SAR handlers....Potter is a Stephanie's Shepherds Rescue, Rehab and Training, 501C3 dog. He is currently with our foster, Courtney Sigmon and hee husband Chip who are mal breeders/trainers. Below is their evaluation of Potter and videos. He is currently with them in Gastonia NC.
He came to us as a stray. He didn't do well in his kennel as most working dogs don't. We saved him from euthanasia and now we need a home for him.
Potter is roughly 2-3 years old. Is a ham...gets along with dominant female dogs( see below) but male dogs and cats are a no. He's got ball drive but that needs to come out more....he is neutered. UTD with vaccines. Crate, kennel and potty trained. He is very loving and adores kids. But he's a Mal and we all feel would be best in a working home.
Our rescue vetted him, will transport him and will donate him to any first responde/vetran. Pls help us get this boy a great home.
Lastly, we did have a lot of interest in Romeo and after talking in depth to several people I am thrilled to announce that he will be going to St Louis to be with Lesa Kay, as her working dog. Lesa is a former police k9 handler and trainer and I just KNOW this is gonna be an amazing fit!! We do need donations to get Romeo from NY to MO....so if anyone can help us, pls donate to our fundraising platforms below.
Also If anyone can recommend a transport company that would be great. Pls consider helping us raise that $ for his transport!
