Meetings open to the public, free to attend. There is a featured speaker at each meeting, networking, opportunities to get involved in local projects, and Q&A time to learn about resources, brush up on your garden knowledge. These meetings are a great chance to meet and socialize with others in the area who are excited about urban agriculture and organic edible gardening! We often include a silent auction, so sign up to receive notices, and bring items to share at the plant auction. Events & Activities

We are excited to announce we will be extending our monthly meeting SUAC Meeting: Summer Veggies with Bill to have an after party in celebration of a large grant we received! We will have a live music jam featuring local musicians, a free tour of the Delores Gilliam Senior Garden, and special prize drawing for 2024 members.

We are excited to be welcoming in a new executive SUAC board of directors for the year of 2024, to uphold these essential roles in our organization! Our members will be voting on this tonight at our meeting.
Being the last year our exiting president Lisa Pineda, is able to hold on the board after her past 6 years of dedicated service, we will be sending her off with an immense amount of gratitude for the countless hours and compassionate efforts she has invested in SUAC during this period, in adddition to extending her skills as a grant writer to win us a grant!
Lisa will be transitioning into a role leading our Education and Partnerships working group, where she will be building upon the foundations of the programs she has laid throughout her presidency and involvement in the board.

Tha Tampa Bay Community Salad prep is almost done for The 2024 Publix Tampa Bay Collard Green Festival! Be sure to be at the festival by 11am to hear the story and have a taste!

We provide education and volunteer assistance to the community in order to facilitate sustainable urban agriculture to create healthy, affordable food, local jobs, and economic stimulus.

We sincerely miss seeing you all in person, but promise that meeting virtually has brought some fun surprises and broadened our reach to new members as well as allowing us to bring in new experts and speakers to our audience.
