I provide pet care services in and around Arnold NG5. Home visits let you know your pet is happy and well when you are away. Walking keeps your pet healthy and happy and is the best way to stop behaviour problems caused by boredom. Microchips are now a legal requirement for all dogs and I can provide the implantation and registration service through Petlog for cats, rabbits and other small mammals. I am insured, I am a qualified microchip implanter with Petlog, I hold a canine first aid certificate, I carry an animal first aid kit and I have a clean and up to date DBS certificate. Services Home Visits Planning holidays, going on a business trip or just being away from home? Having a pet can restrict your freedom at times and taking an animal out of its usual environment and routine can be very stressful on top of their owners absence. I'm here to provide the care and affection needed in their usual environment to reduce stress and keep your pet as happy as possible while you are away. I can visit numerous times a day depending on your pets requirements. If your pet requires regular medication or does not like being left alone for long periods of time we can adjust visits accordingly. I will feed, replenish water, clean up any pet related messes, let out for toilet breaks if required and generally check on their condition. If you have a caged animal I can carry out cleaning. and most important I will give your animal affection either cuddles or playing with their favourite toy. Walking Regular walks not only reduce built up energy but can relieve stress and anxiety for your pet. Exploring and sniffing anything and everything is good fun as well as the health benefits. I can walk on local streets or take your pet to a field or park. If you have a preferred route this can be arranged. All waste will be disposed of and pet wiped down if required before returning. Microchipping Every owners nightmare is your best friend going missing escaping through that open gate or the hole in the hedge. As of April 2016 all dogs must be microchipped by the time they are 8 weeks old. This helps reunite lost pets with their owners. When a pet cannot be identified or its owners contacted it could be rehomed without your knowledge. I am qualified to implant microchips I was qualified by Peddymark and I use the Petlog database chips. I am certified to chip Dogs, Cats, Rabbits, Ferrets and other small mammals. This procedure consists of injecting a 10mmx1.4mm microchip under the skin. This chip will be registered with the animals and the owners details and will be the owners responsibility to keep up to date.
Pet waste clean up
Having pets is always good fun however there is always a dirty side. I provide pet waste clean up for pet animals. I will clean your pets living space or toilet areas, disinfect and rinse down if required suitable for gardens, kennels and cages etc.
