Meet Ethel, our sweet and spunky 3-year-old Basset Hound! 🐶 This adorable low-rider is the perfect example of her breed—fun-loving, loud, and oh-so-loyal! 🎉

Ethel came to Tri-County Animal Rescue from local animal services, battling a little cold. 😷 Thanks to some TLC, she’s now feeling healthy, happy, and ready for her forever home! 🏡 💕

She’s already spayed, had a dental cleaning, and is up-to-date on all her care. 🦴🩺 Ethel is ready to fill your life with love, laughs, and her unmistakable basset charm! 💓

Celebrate the Spirit of Giving with Your Furry Friends in a Festive Wonderl Mizner Park, 327 Plaza Real, will transform into a winter wonderland for pups and their people as “Bark in the Park” returns for a holiday-themed extravaganza on Tuesday, December 3, from 5:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. Originally scheduled for September, this reimagined evening of festive fur-filled fun now includes twinkling lights, holiday décor, and a pet-friendly Santa to create the perfect seasonal atmosphere for a paws-itively delightful night! Proceeds from the event will benefit Tri-County Animal Rescue.

Tickets are $20 per person (including pets).

Advance registration is recommended at https://miznerbarkinpark24.eventbrite.com.

Tickets will also be available at the event.

“We’re so excited to bring back ‘Bark in the Park’ in time for the holidays,” said Vicki Baisden, general manager of Mizner Park, which is owned by Brookfield Properties. “This year, we’ve sprinkled in some holiday magic with sparkling decorations, and we’ll have a pet-friendly Santa on-site to capture festive photos with your furry friends. It’s a wonderful way for the community to gather and spread cheer while supporting such a worthy cause.”

Festivities will include:

Santa Paws: Snap photos with your four-legged friend alongside a pet-friendly Santa surrounded by Mizner Park’s festive lights and holiday décor.
Live Music: Enjoy holiday tunes from a DJ that’ll get tails wagging!

Caricature Artist: Capture your pet’s unique personality on paper, holiday style.

Dog Psychic: Curious about what’s on your pet’s mind this holiday season? A renowned dog psychic will be on hand for some mystic fun!

All attendees will receive a complimentary “doggie bag” filled with goodies for your pets (while supplies last), exclusive promotions, and holiday-themed sample appetizers from participating Mizner Park restaurants, including American Social, Cielito Artisan Pops, Subculture Coffee Roasters, Kapow!, Penelope New Orleans Kitchen, Pure Green, Shaker & Pie, and Max’s Grill.

🌟 Meet Layza!🌟

Layza’s journey has been nothing short of incredible. This sweet 2-year-old terrier mix came to Tri-County Animal Rescue all the way from Puerto Rico back in June. Pregnant and battling heartworm, Layza faced challenges with courage and resilience. She gave birth to a beautiful litter of 6 puppies who have all found loving homes—and now it’s HER turn to be cherished!

After receiving the heartworm treatment she needed, Layza is healthier than ever and ready to start the next chapter of her life. She’s a gentle, loving girl who has given so much to her little ones. Now, she deserves a family who will give her the same unconditional love she shared with her puppies.

🐾 Layza’s Perfect Home:

• Someone who will shower her with affection and stability.

Elli and Chloe have faced unimaginable hardships, yet their spirits remain unbroken. Now, they’re ready to find their forever homes through adoption APPLICATION ONLY at Tri-County Animal Rescue.

🐶 Chloe’s Story: Chloe’s world was shattered when her family brought her to us asking for euthanasia. At just 7 years old, her thinning coat, crusty skin and sad eyes told the story. But we saw her fighting spirit and knew we couldn’t give up on her. Chloe is now on heart medication and her skin in smooth and healing. Even her hair is growing again! She’s a sweet, gentle soul who deserves all the love in the world.

🐾 Elli’s Journey: Elli came to us in unimaginable pain after being found with severe burns across her back. Despite the trauma, this young, resilient girl still shows kindness and a deep desire to love and be loved.
