Winston

Winston has been with our friends at Crazy Jumpers Dog School & Boarding for almost 2 years now (he will be 3 in November).
Winston is a reactive little guy, but has been working very hard on his manners! He takes a bit to warm up to new people (but it's a different story if you have treats 😂), he's very food motivated!
He would do best in a quieter home with no little kids and no other animals. Winston isn't a dog park dog, but he's great on walks when he can have distance from strangers (strangers can be spooky).
Winston is a very active little guy who loves to run and chew on his kongs! He is kennel and house trained and he has been enrolled in serval classes with his fosters (basic lifeskills, out-and-about, and rally obedience), and the amazing staff (his current fosters) have offered Winston's furever family some classes to help give tips and tricks to make his transition to a furever home easier ♥️

Winston is neutered and up to date on all his vaccines, his adoption fee is $500.

🚨 AVAILABLE FOR ADOPTION🚨

Olive is 10 month old collie mix and weighs about 45 pounds. She is up to date on core vaccines, microchipped and spayed.

She absolutely loves to swim and retrieve (check out the video in the comments). Once she is in the water it takes a lot of convincing to get her back out. She has tried dock diving which she loves but still needs to work on her confidence to jump off the dock-her foster mom is dedicated to her getting there.

She loves people, other dogs and is good with dog savvy cats.

She is looking for an active home that will give her the training she still needs to work on and all the swims.

Olive does require a special food to help keep her comfortable and happy but is doing well on it.

We are going back again tomorrow! ♥️

Last week we were able to be involved in a giant rescue mission, and thus far, over 30 of the cats from Seddons Corner have been safely trapped and are either in rescue, foster care or adoptive homes!

Thank you so much to the amazing rescue community for rallying to ensure this incredibly kind and generous family and their beautiful cats received the help they needed.

The rescue community is small and close-knit and it's amazing to see how much we can accomplish when we work together.

"Time spent with cats is never wasted," Sigmund Freud.

This is a huge rescue mission, and a lot of local rescues have come together to take in these cats!

Holy crow!
We are beyond grateful to Pet Valu for raising money the entire month of June for us and Tails of Freedom Rescue Inc.

Thank you to everyone who donated and came out to see us!
Thank you!!!

Finally tally is in and we were able to raise $5063.97 for PAWS month.

The proceeds will be split between Tails of Freedom Rescue Inc. and Earthdog Terrier Rescue of Manitoba for their rescue initiatives.

We’d like to thank both rescues for coming down with adoptables every weekend and their support throughout the month. We hope some lucky critters found their homes ❤️

We’d like to thank all of our fabulous customers that donated throughout the month and supported all our fundraising efforts. Prizes have been pulled and winners called.

We’d also like to thank C.Schell Photography and Isa Pacheco Photography for donating their time and talents to our photo days. The results were fabulously adorable, as always.

**EDIT: FOSTER FOUND

Rudy is in desperate need of a foster, and time is running out for us to help him 💔

Rudy is 5 years old, neutered, and up to date on his vaccines. He was being groomed for fighting and, as such, has a docked tail, some scarring on his body and a mistrust of male dogs. 😔
He likes female dogs, especially ones who are well-balanced and make him feel secure.
His dad passed away, and his mom can't stay in the country and needs to move to the city where Rudy is a banned breed. This is a tough situation for the entire family. We are not asking for suggestions or comments on what his mom should/shouldn't do. We are working to help Rudy.

If we do not find a foster for him, a very terrible decision will have to be made as he can not be caught residing within city limits.
Please, if you can't foster, we ask that you talk to friends and family about Rudy and send them our way.

Rudy loves kids and is curious, but not aggressive with the one cat he's met in his life.

We have 8 days.

Cricket is a sweet, adventurous little puppy that loves his family a lot. He loves to cuddle and loves to play with his humans and dogs. He catches the eye of everyone everywhere he goes and charms them with his sweet personality.

He has typical puppy energy but loves his naps and is easy to settle.

He has gone to daycare and the staff and dogs all love him and his personality.

He is about 90% house trained. He walks well on leash. However because he loves being around his family so much, he does not like being left alone in his crate, but he is working on this!

This little 4 month old boy would make a great addition to any family. He is currently only about 20 lbs making him the second smallest of his litter ♥️

Meet Rudy 👋
This 5 year old neutered boy's dad passed away, and sadly, Rudy is in search of a foster home.
He is a big boy (70 lbs) and good with kids. He has met a cat once and was curious about it. He is good with calm female dogs (no male dogs).
Prior to Rudy's dad saving him, he was in a not so great situation, and as such, he has some scarring on his body. Regardless of his past, Rudy loves all people.
Due to his breed, he does need to be in a town/RM without BSL.

Project Hemi was underway this weekend in Ebb and Flow First Nation.

This weekend we were able to spay and neuter 52 dogs, provide each of them with dog tags, and even more dogs came for just vaccines! We also saw one dog who'd been injured in a dog fight and another who required stitches after fighting with a bear. And there was one little kitten who had been stepped on accidentally, leaving her with dogs injuries.

None of this would've been possible without the help of some pretty amazing people and organizations!

Thank you so much to Budget Truck Rentals Quintex Services Ltd K9 Advocacy Manitoba Feed The Furbabies Canada Spirit of Hope Rescue Small Dog Rescue BC Society A Tail to Tell Frontline Rescue The Ark Project Cat Therapy and Rescue Society West Coast Animal Advocates Parkland Humane Society Inc.

We had a ton of help from some amazing RVTs from Dauphin - Ste Rose Vet Clinic, Beausejour Animal Hospital, Robin Animal Hospital, and vet assistants from Central Vet.

And a HUGE thank you to Dr Iskander of Bark and Meow Mobile Vet Clinic, and Student Vet, Daniela. Your tireless efforts are admirable!

We also want to thank the community for their amazing hospitality! Chief Wayne Desjarlais, Councilor Darcy Malcolm, Arena manager Maxine , all the Restaurant staff (the food was amazing)!

This weekend our team worked tirelessly to help spay and neuter 52 dogs within the Ebb & Flow First Nations community.

Thank you to the people who helped sponsor some of the dogs that got fixed, we know the dogs are grateful (well, maybe not at the time...but it's a much safer life now), the community is grateful and we are so grateful!
