Our family was out for a drive one day when we started reminiscing about our golden retriever named Biscuit. My son commented that he always thought that one day Biscuit would start talking and tell us the secret of life. That time came during the final days of Biscuit's life. He could barely walk, yet the innate desire was there to be the dog he had always been, and he convinced us to take him fo

r walks. As he trudged along he would always go farther than his legs could carry him. The only way we could get him home was to drop bread crumbs in front of him leading him back to the house. “Bread...it always leads you home”
was born. Biscuit did know the secret to life and although he never spoke,
his actions said it all. Biscuit’s Bread Company was created
in loving memory of Biscuit.
